I don't think BAP is even a little bit Romanian. The accent he puts on in his podcast is gratingly fake and if he was actually Romanian he would know how to imitate someone from the Eastern Bloc convincingly. Bearing in mind that Costin was raised in Romania until the age of 10 and has Romanian-speaking parents, the fact that even his idea of the intonation of a Slavic language sounds American seems odd to me.

BAP is iirc a Brazilian of Romanian extraction with a Western education. He probably went to a lot of American Schools of Wherever on daddy’s money before Yale. Ironically, he seems to have been a rootless cosmopolitan urbanite bugman after all.

Though KB and Bloom obviously did it for the wrong reasons and are shills themselves, BAP’s dox, if true, is kinda damning. A guy so close to so many neocon think tanks probably shouldn’t be taken at face value by dissident nationalists. A lot of what BAP promotes has the net effect of corralling dissident young men back onto the GOPlantation.

BAP is pretty lame in general IMO. He’s an esoteric closet case version of Jordan Peterson who types like a brain damaged 12 year old well into his 30s. His shtick was funny as a gimmick 6 years ago but has long since gone stale.

I remember trying to listen to a stream/podcast this dude did and it was terrible. I couldn't understand why so many people kissed his ass when he's just another literal fag "conservative" pseudo-intellectual. It doesn't surprise me he's an ivy league richkid larping for the autists online

BAP is Brazilian. As of 2016 he has largely lived in Brazil. You don't need a dox to prove that. It is something his inner circle has leaked a few times. An open secret because they always delete any tweets alluding to it. Unfortunately all the accounts mentioning it are banned now.

Kantbot has been pretty manic lately in light of recent events. He went from praising BLM burning up local businesses to hurt neoliberalism to lambasting anyone involved in the Capital Hill breech. As always, he deflects any criticism or counter response with ramblings about secrete government operations as recent as 1973.

All Kantbot does is reference historical events or quotes from his favorite philosophers to hide the lack of meaningful substance or original opinions. He spews out shit about how anyone who disagrees with him is being manipulated by the CIA, while acting smug that no one but his inner circle Logos knows about what ever obscure Cold War trivia Kantbot decides to bring up. Kantbot truly is the Sargon of a new era.

On one hand, I'll agree with KB and logo that you should "do the reading" and understand things beyond gut intuition.

On the other, knowledge is only power if you use it. If you don't really participate in society or have a stake in the future (through family, community, etc.), you really can't put your big brained ideas into practice except as meaningless intellectual masturbation like KB and logo do. It's just another hobby. Which is fine, but they should own that instead of pretending that their posting careers are meaningful.

These guys sneer at real things that affect people like race riots, transgenderism, cancel culture, the normalization of pedophilia, demographic change, etc. as superfluous culture-war bullshit because they have no skin in the game. They live online and the only culture they experience is their tiny clique of fellow nobodies, so why would they care about a culture war?

I wish I could find the post, but there was a really funny reply to one of his tweets where a guy basically said "I don't have to read that, I already know these people are bad because it's obvious." And they were right. Nobody needs to know or care about the minutiae of what specific things these people did. All they need to know is that it's degenerate and that they don't like it.

Kantbot is in the same camp as the "intellectual dark web" he sometimes makes fun of, where he prefers to wade in the mud of discourse and get nothing done because if something did get done and society did change, then he'd have to get a real job. To the people who want to solve all those problems, Kantbot is just one more disgusting, fat urbanite.

There hasn’t been much TekWars discussion so I’ll throw in my two cents.

KB had a very strange relationship with his former co-host Warren. In the Sam Hyde interview, KB reprimands Warren for having a girlfriend and criticizes his commitment to the autistic crusade. Frequently he would talk over Warren with big name guests like Moldbug when it was clear that Warren had prepared much longer than he had. The pair supposedly split because Warren traveled out of New York during the beginning of COVID-19 without KB’s consent. KB simply broke off all contact and started a new show. He even dumped all of the old episodes, that were formerly behind a paywall, up on Megaupload for free.

It's hard to gather screenshots because they kept nuking their tweets during this period. I will keep digging.

If I remember correctly, Autistic Mercury was supposed to be KB's project that Warren put up the money for and helped promote. The site paid writers to contribute and that money had to come from somewhere. The podcast was more of Warren's thing that KB took over.

Warren has eluded to having a real job and coming from money (going to a Waldorf School, etc.).
