Keto.. again? What is wrong with her? She’s as fat, if not fatter, than when she started her “weight loss journey” almost three years ago. Keto will never work. I know at one point she got down in the 500’s but then she broke her diet, gained weight and kept eating meats and cheeses to try and get back into ketosis. She’s only doing this diet so she can pig out on cream cheese and chaffles.

Hard liquor is all keto because there are no carbs in it. Stuff like beer, hard cider, etc., is the only stuff that's off-limits. Maybe that's why he agreed to do it, he can have all the gin and bourbon he wants.

She's been pretending to do Keto for what, two years now? And she is heavier then when she started. This is just a way for her to delude herself in thinking she's on a diet, while gorging on all the fattening greasy food that put her here in the first place. They are doing it together so Gene can support her. If he doesn’t realize he’s been an enabler all this time, tomorrow when she starts screeching at him to get “treats” and he suggests it’s not on the diet and she starts spinning her head around and vomiting pea soup, he’ll figure it out. He’s trapped, she’ll never lose the weight and he’ll be by the river if he doesn’t bring her candy and soda.

(I don’t really think he’s a feeder, I just think his mom was an o-beast and he’s psychologically trying to repair that relationship.)

The big announcement is the same announcement she’s been making for ten years. why? I wonder if Gene actually has the balls to lay down an ultimatum? She has to be 700 lbs. now. According to Dr. Now, if she went on a zero carb 1200 calorie diet she could lose a hundred pounds in a month. But now, she’s going to stick to what has never worked for her all her life. Fats are worse than alcoholics about the denial of what they are doing, I think. (Drunks are more dangerous to others though.)

Way back in the stone age, when Dr. Atkins came up with his revolutionary low-carb diet plan, it was called "The Drinking Man's Diet." One of the big selling points was that a businessman could take his clients out for a big old steak and and salad, with plenty of scotch to go along,

Their relationship seems to go up and down. Sometimes they support each other, sometimes they don’t. I’ve even seen Jen threaten to block Chantal if she doesn’t “stop spreading negativity in the comments.” Yet, just the other week a troll using Jen’s name showed up in a live and Chantal got excited because she thought it was actually her.

Chantal does have a good point but who is she to preach about dieting when she is a failure as well? It reminds me of when she took Peetz shopping at an organic store and tried to educate him about nutrition.

Maybe they can be cordial with each other but there will always be some sort of underlying, morbidly obese influencer rivalry. Plus, Chantal probably resents Jen for not being targeted by the core group of haydurs like she is.
