Boogie / Boogie2988 / "Francis" / Steven Jason Williams - Fat, Rapidly Declining Divorced "Nice Guy" Middle-Aged Youtuber, Former Edgy Porn Blogger, lied about having cancer and being molested. Cohost of fake drama show "Lolcow Live (LCL)". Just WILL NOT die.

when Boogers is on these sugar daddy sites, how does he go about finding out he's not being catfished by a hater? he's so paranoid he probably requires a facetime ... without a shirt on.

WingsofRedemption was trolled hard on PlentyofFish.

FYI laying in a dirty bed for a first date, is in fact, not a date. paid or otherwise.

At a certain point why not just go for a Craigslist whore? I know for a fact we got a lot around here.

Restarting that xbox is his main platform so that nobody can use his lack of PS trophies against him again. Or maybe he's trying to become Microsoft's boy since Sony knows he's washed up.

He was bought by Sony in 2013. He favored them because they gave him more free shit than Microsoft did. They flew him and Dez to New York, gave him a PS4 and a ton of games. So I never took him seriously when he was pro-Playstation. He also said he liked the PS5 more then the XBox Series X and then flip-flopped saying he likes Xbox more.

On a slightly unrelated note, McJuggerNuggets is shutting down StoryFire. For all you /r/samandtolki users here, this is a momentous day.

Who would have guessed that you needed actual content creators on the platform and not just your close circle of trash ones.

Good riddance, all his "promotion" involved spamming it and saying how great the payout was. Can't wait for Melon's response.

Hope that Boogies videos are going to be archived someplace. Considering Storyfire is just a rebranded Vimeo maybe they'll still be hosted as public there.

Boogie is peak consumer. Give him free stuff and exposure and you're his favorite.

Can't say I'm surprised. Youtube monopolizes the video media market and Storyfire wasn't exactly the most stable app. Plus, it mainly consisted of Jesse's close friends.

Sort of unrelated to the thread, but all centralised YouTube alternatives are destined for failure. I'm not even sure YouTube itself pulls in a profit, it's definitely got parts that are bootstrapped by other Google projects that do make money.

PeerTube/federated solutions look to be the way forward after Bitchute and Storyfire go down, decentralisation is what will draw in the people banned from other platforms, the streaming costs are distributed and advertisers can pick and choose which nodes to advertise on and avoid the more unsavoury content.

If people ever do make the switch the these platforms, I imagine the transition would kill a huge chunk of Boogie's audience who wouldn't care to resubscribe to him on a new platform.

Storyfire was basically all smoke and mirrors anyway. Anyone I knew that even tried to check it out had some complaint about how non user-friendly the site was, particularly if you wanted to upload a video.

Considering Boogie claims McJuggernuggets was the one who got him into crypto, I do wonder how much money McJuggernuggets convinced him to sink into the platform.

I checked out Story Fire once and wanted to see this cooking video on it and I could never get any videos to play.

McJ said he invested $4,700,000+ into the platform lmao, Jesus. Although that seems absurd for what is an actual Vimeo clone. He also says he held meetings with venture capitalists 40+ times and only ever got ghosted. I imagine upon seeing Boogie was a key figure involved, that they ran for the hills. I have to imagine the only way they ever got guys like Keemstar or Leafy involved was with a significant equity in the company but who really knows. Jesse himself says that even after sinking that much personal money in he still only ever owned 1/3 of the company.

I'm interested to see if the creators will get their money back at all. The app used some in-app currency called "Blaze" that you would get paid with when others would watch your videos, but at least when S&T shut down there was no way for creators to cash out that Blaze, users were only able to buy it with a Paypal or card in order to skip ads or whatever. He also just avoided answering that question the many times people would reach out and ask him about it.
