I haven't seen the stream but is it possible that Pekora got the call pre-stream then lost it when she got to the superchats? The timing seems weird, especially if the narrative about it being related to management/financial workings pans out.

So the gist I'm getting from what happened with Pekora is this. She wanted to do stuff for her fans, have some sort of prize lottery. She also asked for a larger budget for game stream licenses so she could play more/different games. I'm guessing this was what the call was about (it was denied).

She mentions that she was/is considering turning off superchats even though she understands that it's basically her salary, because A. She feels like she can't give anything in return and B. She doesn't understand what management uses it on.

Some guy clipped a part of it, don't understand any of it but it honestly just makes me sad hearing her like this. And I'm not even a big Pekora fan.

The fuck. How can you decline your top streamer ffs.

What Pekora wanted to do was hold a sweepstakes, or something similar. It isn't about any sort of image they have to uphold (as the girls hold contests all the fucking time) but about Cover not wanting to get involved with having to deal with the legality of sweepstakes prize distribution at the behest of a single talent. If this is actually the case, then I'm with Cover on this one.

Man, I’m going to have to hope someone clipped the Suisei stream.

I wanted the sweepstakes to win a audio clip where she call me pogchamp and a nigger

Edit: Calli is playing Yume Nikki, the mall goth has not leaved the room

I just saw some people from yesterday complaining about having Aloe in the meme review and blaming the creator of the meme. Like damn Coco picked the fucking meme I’m quite sure it was fine. It’s just as retarded to hold the extreme opposite point of view. Just laugh or don’t and take your own advice, move on.

Just catched up with Reine's clips and she made a fucking kazoo noise with just her mouth whatever ara ara vibe she gave in the first debut stream is gone replaced by extremely dorky onee san.

Gonna wait a little longer to decide what this is about specifically since there's a lot of rrats still flying around, but it's sounding more like this thing is about money. The timing lines up pretty well with Pekomama or Pekopapa doing a little bit of math on their precious hikki daughter's dream job to make sure she isn't getting ripped off. If that's the case, it's not just about Peko not getting money for a thing, but her family could be giving her some doubts about the company on the money front and that is worth getting upset about.

I never understood this either. It gives too much credibility to falseflaggers and Nijiniggers who are always trying to paint Cover as a legit "black company," and it leaves me wondering as well. I understand they have a lot of other employees to pay salaries for but jesus christ.

I know they don't mistreat their talents or anything as Yagoo said he flat-out wouldn't allow that ever again, and Fubuki wouldn't stand for it and would quit if it happened but still, the fact they always seem to have flies buzzing out of their supposedly empty wallets despite having like 7 of the Top 10 superchat earners, insane merch sales and promotions, and all that juicy concert profit, is weird.

Maybe they should fish for a free $17M from Sony like Nijisanji did lol.
The Cover Black Company rrat is always too busy trying to buttfuck other rrats to actually bother offering any evidence for his own existence.

Kiara had been in the indie idol game from when she was 15, cognizant of compensated dating and talent messing with managers and all sorts of seedy bullshit a teenager shouldn't need to be exposed to. She was ousted from the industry by a stalker with some clout with zero support from management and I think jrcach or whatever even claims responsibility for getting her visa cancelled. By the way, he is the sole source on that prostitution ad you've probably since floating around in doxx threads. She gave this interview when she was 19 and wanted nothing to do with idols or even Japanese entertainment ever again.

Polka, as Nobuhime, had a manager take over her Twitter account and posed as her to try to ruin personal relationships in DMs. She was close with Inuyama Tamaki (actually the managaka of Himegoto) and they announced the retirement the same day as Tamaki's 3D debut just to be petty fucks. She brought the character of Nobuhime to Upd8 and they stole it from her.

There are more talents that have been screwed over by the industry working with Hololive, but the point is if these two are even just able to pretend they're happy at Cover it speaks volumes about Cover being a decent company. In situations where they've fucked up, incompetence or inexperience is the logical explanation and I've never seen a whisper of even circumstantial evidence to back up speculation of Cover being black.

Also, I was having a little trouble finding it, so here's Pchi, Iofi and Ina's collab from earlier:
Wew, that Ina art...

Huh. I had totally thought that Iida Pochi was a dude’s name.

Patra made... this. I’m not sure what the context is. it’s super cute, though, so you should probably subscribe to her channel, since she already thanked you for doing so.

Wait... pochi as in the hentai-artist-turned-mangaka? Or is there another Pochi?
Yeah, look around her channel and you can find videos of her drawing Nee-san. Let's see...Iofi admitted to liking some eromangaka in a video a while back and I believe Pochi was her favorite. Turned out Pochi had been Vtubing for a while and they collabed shortly afterwards and a few times since.

Oh, BTW, I didn't notice anything but the prep being linked, so here's Ririsya's B-day celebration:
I think the fact that she's only a little higher energy than Chip-chan serves as a natural filter for spazzy tards so she probably wouldn't gain a huge following in Hololive, but if they wanted to diversify their target audiences a little she could head up a Hololive Chill.
