I disagree that Doug's tweets lend credence to anything other than the clear fact that Doug was unhinged, angry, and swinging wildly at anyone and everyone, because he couldn't get Kelsey Shannon to promise to never say "Fuck Doug Ernst" again.
I think Doug's tweets show that he's paranoid, talking emotionally about "conspiracies" etc. Clearly, as he mentioned himself, he'd been wound up by Tim Lim.
I think it's also clear that there were several people who were interested in exploiting his paranoia for their own interest, which might be hurting Mitch, and then as a bonus, me.
