Canning Pekora would be like canning Fubuki or Coco, is a nuclear move and not viable in any way or form, Cover still has not recovered from last year, another meltdown would surely hurt them this time

This is Japanese Idol common thing. The only thing more important is "enjoy the show, for Idol and Fans" rather than making it perfect. Different member have different talent like entertaiment, singing, etc. so what Chicken said is true. I'm still didn't understand the meaning of "pure thing" when your idol did some gravure photoshoot.

I was aware of that video a few while back, and I opted not to watch it just judging from the title.
Yeah same, the Kiara personality grates on me a bit, but holy fuck the amount sheer bullshit she's had to put up with makes me feel awful. That people have twisted that to make her look like the bad guy is insanity.

I said it with Coco and I'll say it again for Kiara. Just use your natural voice instead of trying to stay in character. No one cares if you sound a little different when singing. In these two cases, it sounds like they'll perform better. These are actually pretty good. Do they have the names for these songs?

It seems like a combination of that and conscientiousness/scrupulosity. I suspect she feels like her success is more than she deserves so she's trying to give some of it back because she thinks it's the right thing to do. Sort of like how Gura tries to redirect the glory to her senpai by making her 2M celebration about them rather than about herself, and how she drafted a letter to her fans expressing her gratitude (something she'd previously said she needed to work on), even going so far as to say "without you, there'd be no me." I know we like to be cynical here, but I think that some of the girls are legitimately motivated by ethical beliefs.

I consider both Calli and Kiara to be underdogs considering what they've been through, and I love seeing an underdog make good.
