Schizophrenia isn't a different mindset, rather it's more a zone in thinking where someone's grip on reality goes away. They become convinced of something unreal with an extreme certainty- the delusion- and anything that contradicts that belief is denied, hard stop, and this can lead to irrational thinking and behavior and hostility. These thoughts also tends to be intrusive and lead to obsessions.

I have little personal experience with unmedicated schizophrenia - based on just one case of a guy I knew - but I see some differences:
- Downward spiral - once first symptoms showed up he went from eccentric but fun-to-be-around low level white collar to unemployed loner spending his days listening to prog rock and talking about the musicians like he knew them to asking strangers to protect him from Mosad \ CIA \ communists. In case of Pamela you could cut two years of this thread and not much has changed in the way she speaks and behaves.
- Cognitive decline - pretty much loss of ability to learn or internalize new concepts and ideas or even enjoying new music in the genre he was fixated on. Here I noticed Pamela started, rather naturally, using words like sperg or tard, adopted language of the group.
- Inability \ lack of interest in taking care of himself and his surrounding. Yeah, he let himself go. By the end, short before his family took him in his apartament was a dumpster filled with trash he produced or found and clothes everywhere. If Pamela is able to take care of herself and an elderly family member for years it doesn't fit my image of advanced unmedicated schizophrenia.

In short, be prepared when the other shoe drops.

I had episodes working in customer service during my uni years. There are no insults that weren't thrown my way at some point
