For sure. she was always going to lose some fans over it,but Ron made sure to burn the bridges entirely & make people not just dislike her but loathe her. A big part of these VAs income is made at Cons & Ron has probably cost her tens of thousands of dollars a year. But knowing his manipulative nature he probably wanted that so she depends on him financially & gives him more control

Now Spirit Albarn from Soul Eater is a bit perverted and is a womanizer, but he's a protective father towards his daughter and is Shinigami's weapon, which makes him a powerful character.

2022 when conventions are running again will see fewer line ups for Monica and Jamie. Majority of their money comes from conventions since voice acting doesn't pay a whole lot and they can't sell merchandise like shirts and stuff of the characters they voice legally. Most they can do is have photos of the characters they voice and sign those (and not charge for the photos), or sign products the fans bring to them.
