To add on to this allegory, I don't have any problem with people getting face tattoos in general, and I don't think people with face tattoos should be wholly disenfranchised by society or whatever. The thing that gets under my skin though are the pro face tattoo groups that are blatantly trying to normalize younger and more impressionable people getting face tattoos for the sake of profit, while intentionally keeping quiet about all the problems and consequences that could arise from it. And yeah, honestly sometimes the people with face tattoos are just way too sensitive about what other people think and need to get over themselves.

From what i can gather from Socialblade, the current episode did no better than the last few. If anything its worse because he lost more subs than usually.
For some background, the last few Jimquisions just lost subs. Every Monday -1k, just that it usually keeps at that. This time he lost another 1k the day after.
That being said, engagement (ie. comments and ratings) is up from 30%-ish last week to 55%-ish so at least he has that going for him.
Altogether though, id still argue its worse than expected. Even the current "spectacle" around him does his views no good so far and his increasingly worse attitude towards the audience seems to continue to burn more subs than his troon shenanigans gain. Unless this episode keeps gaining views even after two or three days, this event does not seem like even a short-term improvement.

Probably does not help either that gaming news has gotten pretty quiet after the 2077 hype/shitstorm was done, especially since Jimbos weekly instead of the usual (for gaming channels) semi-daily format really needs something more exiting to happen than Eurotruck devs making the most bland, non-offensive statement about vaxines technically possible.

If he really wants to improve his situation, then he should just do semi-daily videos like Yongyea (and cut the sperg-outs, but that goes without saying). Back in 2018 Jim had substantially more subs (675k vs 449k) but by 2019 Yong had overtaken him. The semi-daily format just survives way better during slow news weeks while still offering the possibility to bloat an episode into 20min+ if a topic warrants it. Probably also helps that Yong can talk about EA/ActiBlizz/Crunch bad without spilling his spaghetti for 5 minutes, although Jim fell behind even before his politics devolved the show into the mess it is today.
But then again, thats probably too much work for him, so we will keep getting blessed with the "news" other channels already talked about last week with extra (half-assed) troonery and the exact same "lul trump is bad AND stupid, just like gamers hahaha" shitposting once a week.

Im just hoping the estrogen will make him dive deeper into the far-left/troonery rabbit hole because that at least sounds more exiting than made-up drama and identical capitrumplism bad rants we got so far. But judging from what i have read about it, it may be another month or two until that really starts to kick in. I recon we will see the expected meltdowns some time around March-April.

I unsubscribed long time ago because of the increasing levels of sperging about capitalism and gender bullshit, I didn't subscribe for "progressive" sermons. The trajectory was clear.
So we find ourselves here now, which was as inevitable as troon's regret following amhole installation.

I would imagine a lot of people followed him since the Escapist days, expecting to get the same product they were given then. These are the people leaving now, not muh bee-goths.
I couldn't care less about the transgender thing if it was just that, but here it's coming with the whole package of deranged leftism as it often tends to be, and honestly by now I've had enough.

Edit: btw it's official now, but could be a troll edit, in that case kudos. He's now a Stephanie on wikipedia.

It's different, in 1940 companies were that, companies, non human entities trying to sell you shit with aggressive marketing, nowadays they have shift their focus into being brands, they want you to perceive them as "people" not only people but "good people", they post memes, support "civil" movements, make tweets talking to other brands, etc.
Coca-Cola and others supporting things like BLM and Transgenderism not because merely cause it will give them a good image with your average American, then they will be more compelled to buy their shit.

If being a Nazi was the cool thing Coca-Cola would have a swastika in their bottles.

and people operate in the same manner more or less, they want to be perceived as good without doing any effort, saying you are not racist it's easy, saying you support troons or making a tweet with #BLM will make you look good in your acquaintances eyes without actually doing anything of value, that's the only reason things like Troons are so popular nowadays, everyone wants to be perceived as good, maybe they do it for money, brand recognition or just for status but no one wants to be the bad guy and publicly denounce things like these.

It doesn't help that you will be associated with some undesirables if you end up going that path.

Estrogen pills or patches do absolutely jack squat for someone's mental well being or even outlook on life. The only "positive" effect mentally that may occur is a repression of the male sexual impulse. For most actual transgendered people this can be therapeutic as Male sexual desires are distressing/distracting. For people like Sterling they will find the results not as helpful as the sudden loss of sexual arousal over the issue makes it less personally rewarding.

This is something that is really getting lost in the gender special debates. Choosing to be a trans woman is actually pretty shit. You will never have kids, your sex drives will become virtually non existent, you will need to apply yourself to a rigorous physical exercise and diet regimen to avoid the artificial hormones turning you into a freak show and so on. Nobody should want to do this as a form of validation. In fact every effort should be applied to not letting this happen. The human body and mind is not a Lego set that can just be rearranged at will.

We are doing vulnerable people a massive disservice by arguing otherwise and I bet big money a huge part of the 41% comes from people discovering estrogen is not magic pixie dust and trying to live out a fetish in your day to day life when you are no longer capable of a boner over it is really hard.

Transgender people have been known in human society all the way back to the oldest eras, to the point where Egyptian gods could be either male or female. Ironically for the current year, the Egyptian god Kek, the frog God is also a trannie. In female form he is Kauket. And also trans species into a snake. So yeah. This is something we have tried to address at even a religious level for thousands of years. But its not something that has been viewed as flippant. Or without cost. And that is what makes me mad about this. If Jim was serious about this he would treat it seriously. But he's not. He is still the same tub of lard demanding attention. Only now it is because he is gender special.

I can think of no worse an ambassador for trans people, short of the LGBT non profits that decided to use a negligible minority as a wedge issue to justify their continued existence post gay marriage acceptance.
