Historically, the issue was simply good old crippling poverty on a major scale. Like, "subsaharan Africans would feel right at home"-levels of crippling povery, only with a structured government on top of everything.
Until large-scale food imports became a thing relatively recently, for basically a thousand years China's rural population was always two steps away from famine. If a harvest failed due to drought, or if the river flooded, or if a plague hit the crops, you would have upwards of hundreds of thousands of people in a region starving to death. As such they became really good at finding "novel" solutions for supplementing their diets. If you look at all those "oh, these people eat bugs/dogs/other weird things" situations, 99% of the time it's because they went through severe famine in the past and the habits stuck around. Regardless, that means they were always close to (and consuming) wildlife, and so were their livestock. That sort of situation breeds just the perfect conditions for zoonotic disease transmission. Birdie gets the sniffles? Well, now the pig has the sniffles. Now the farmer has the sniffles, and he dies 5 days later. Now the whole world is panicking about a new breed of influenza.
These days the Chinese aren't as rural as they once were, but population densities are way higher (it happens when the Yangtze or the Huang He aren't washing off the peasantry every couple of decades), old habits die hard and the CCP doesn't care about improving sanitary conditions outside of where their elites live. China is the world's witches' cauldron, you can reliably expect more plagues popping out of there in the future.

- Praising Biden because Trump called it "The China Flu", and that means Americans are racist against Asian Americans.
- Praising Biden for crying because it shows that men shouldn't be ashamed of their feelings.
- Saying that Trump should be in jail for 1/6 and that leaving office is no reason to drop the issue.
- That 1/6 killed more people (5) than Hillary got killed in Benzgahi (4).
- Biden is refreshing to finally bring racial equity after 250 years.
- Praising Biden for inclusivity for having ASL interpreters.

"When inappropriate"? If they're not your wife, even if they don't shittalk you for crying over the death of a loved one, they'll probably never be attracted to you ever again. At absolute best, they'll just expect your crying in the future at completely random points where you're not even close.
It's astounding how so many women clamor for a "sensitive man" when they have no idea what to do with said feelings-- it's actually fascinating to observe just how beyond their experience a man's vulnerability is.

The look of disdain I have seen some wives give their husbands for bawling their eyes out at the death of a loved one, or being completely inept at being "a shoulder to cry on" is beyond shocking. Some of them have not a fucking clue what to do or what to say, or they give this look and sigh of "do I really have to deal with this shit". Of course, when it's them crying, the husbands know what to do to try and comfort them. To me, seeing it happen at one funeral from several wives or girlfriends was both horrifying and disgusting.

...almost every day, I discover a new way I've been lied to about women and intersexual relationships. It's like the "sensitive man" clamoring and whatever else the throngs claim to want but can't handle are all part of a giant filter so they can agonize over the men they actually want, but it's more likely that the lot of them are out of touch with their own desires or the extent of their own capability in finding the man of their desires.

On the surface, we're talking about how people are damn liars when they ask for sensitive men, and how Biden and Schumer get a pass where Republicans most certainly would not (from anyone, no less). Deeper than that, though, Joe Biden is a prime example of performative emotionalism fawned over by women who allegedly desire openly vulnerable men, but the reality of matters means that Joe, Crying Chuck, and really the Democratic party as a whole advance a pernicious lie that renders men more useless to women should they mistakenly seize upon it. Totally relevant to how the Democratic party steers the rudder of our culture.

Unfortunately, I don't think people are getting as upset as we think they are.
I've seen almost nothing but praise for Biden in his first week for doing such a great job. Unless Biden personally fucks them over, they don't care about the labor unions or trans women invading women's spaces (in fact, that's a GOOD thing), or how Biden isn't racist towards Asians for calling it the China Flue, or any of that.
