/r/wsb autists taking on a wallstreet hedgefund. Elon musk involved as always / wallstreetbets / gamestop - Gamergate 2: financial boogaloo

They're running in fear, if they need to hide one of the main options of trading it isn't showing strength on their side.

The Robinhood exec basically stated that triggers and failsafes aren't triggering on GME because nothing is wrong.

Less than 24 hours later, he's completely delisted GME for buying on Robinhood, 180ing his original statements.

They're pulling out all stops.
Robinhood offers a free brokerage service and makes their money from selling their user's data to the big Wall St investment funds, so they can more easily manipulate the market and steal from retail investors.

Why would their decision to fuck over their users surprise anyone when that's been a part of their business model since their inception? Their customers aren't their users, it's the Hedge Funds. They're only doing what their customers are asking them to do.

When a company offers free anything you'll end up wishing you had paid.

After the stocks close tonight I have a feeling it's literally going to be raining men if you know what I mean.

I'm so happy you can spend in a second what I make in a year.
Take that fork out of your ass and learn to do /biz/ness, loser. Or at least know when there's an investment risk worth taking.

I think it’s hilarious that Wall Street wants regulation now that regular people are fucking them up the ass at their own rigged game.

Fundamentally I find it fascinating that for the second time in half-a-year, the powers-to-be are burning up their reputation among normies, just for the sake of preserving the status quo. And not only in a reactionary way, but in a very sloppy, blatant one as well.

Overall, I feel that anti-establishment-ism will only grow stronger during the Biden regime, as the establishment fights to preserve a power structure (and economy) that's increasingly disconected from the real world around it.

"There is an anger ... it's shocking how angry. There's a nihilism that's going on," says Mike Novogratz on the Reddit trading revolution. "People are crying for system change. This is generation. This is millennials and Gen Z screaming at Boomers and saying ... screw you."
Damn straight.

Why did you link a video that tells people: "We hear you, you're angry, now please sell (goy)".

Kindly worded propaganda is still propaganda.

HOLD my bully boys, HOLD!

Dis nigga be missing the point; those hedgies aren't hated because they're richer, they're hated because they fucking profit off other's failures, which at the moment is at an all time high.
Not only that, but they actively engineer those failures. How many otherwise functional businesses have groups like Melvin or Bain Capital fucking gassed deliberately?

That won't happen. Too many tiny hats are brokers. They'll just shut down personal trading so you HAVE to use a brokerage firm to trade on your behalf.

That's basically the same thing, only those who are registered with the SEC (brokers, and you can bet the SEC would suddenly get very selective about registrations) would have actual power and control over the property.
