The autists have been so successful in their crusade because the parasites were greedier than clever and made themselves very vulnerable. They allowed >100% of the Gamestop shares to be shorted. This means they made wagers they couldn't cover, assuming there'd be no need to, because nobody would notice. And nobody was in a position to do anything. Just business as usual. Oops.

In essence, turds like Melvin Capital dropped their trousers, bent over, and pulled their assholes apart, believing that nobody could see. But the investment public was watching as they exposed themselves very badly. Now they're surprised that some autists took advantage of this and started cramming things in their assholes.

There's nothing wrong with shorting. Given a healthy free market, it has its place as a tool to give an incentive flag for failing companies.

Shorting 140% of a stock...literally shorting more stock than exists should be illegal. But even then, I don't care.

What is legal, but not enforced is allowing an equal playing group between retail and institutional investors.

I haven't been this excited for the future in years. It gets my blood boiling seeing pushback of any kind to this dying system.

Some anon on Twitter had a good thread about how the system is most afraid of people feeling the ecstasy of fighting back against an enemy you can love to fight against, basically they fear people feeling like they have a good cause. That's more frightening to them then any RWDS or Khmer Rogue, because that gets people into the streets and completely shatters the illusion of power they currently project.
