She did post her obligatory 'Happy New Years!' tweet on Twitter at precisely 1AM Eastern time so, yes, she's Central timezone somewhere.

Unless, like someone else said, she's just smart enough to make it seem like she's Central.

Well, Suisei and Anemachi live in the apartment next door to her and Kanata, actually. Also, they have a rigid pact to never disturb each other in any way, shape, or form, when the other is streaming unless it's a special occasion, like when Kanata barged into the room to give Coco a hug during her return-from-hiatus stream.

and I'm sure that agreement goes hard-double for when she's IRL streaming on her Kson channel. Even though Kson being Coco is a "secret everyone knows," imagine how funny or yab it'd be to hear Kanata in the background of a Kson stream. People would probably get a huge kick out of it, actually.

From what she's mentioned on Kson and Coco it sounds a lot like (western?) dormitories. 2-8 mini-apartments with a bed, microwave, and toilet. Then a shared kitchen-area and bathroom-area for 2/more residents. Cocos toilet RTAs lend credence to the idea of her having her own space rather than running to a shared bathroom. So might as well consider them neighbours that go to the public area for dinner. Also works with Suisei being a neighbour in the sense of being in the next 2-8 block/house of dorms.

I really do hope she's feeling better. After that whole fiasco with the "you've changed....." superchat, she posted some pretty disparaging things on her roommate Twitter. She made a couple rage tweets and even posted "I want to die," the latter which was eventually deleted.

On top of the supa incident, I also think the doxxtards are getting to her as well. From what I recall, her, Luna, and Korone have all issued copyright strikes against them, as well as Cover themselves. I wanna know where and when that madness is all gonna end. Not to sound like a mega-doomer, but I'd been doing some thinking about it and I could see the constant doxx uploads and harassment (and it is harassment, despite what the 'tards themselves claim) causing one of the more emotionally volatile girls to snap, break character/talk about it, or maybe even decide to retire over it. I know any of that is farfetched but who knows where it goes if these assclowns don't cut it the fuck out.

Unless someone else has more solid proof of the cash contest prize thing than a bunch of /jp/ posters agreeing on it, I would think it's about something less manageable. A pure speculation that fits what we've heard from the rabbit's mouth could be a main costume redesign. It's something we've seen recently with Aqua and Nene, it's something that'd cost a decent chunk of money and I could see management nixing the idea cause Peko's got such a strong brand image. I think someone else also mentioned Marine suggesting getting uh...professional make your argument for you people to help her make her case, but I might have misunderstood. I think that's the route Nene went.

Anyhow, that's all just pure speculation based on me not seeing definitive proof of the contest plans yet.

Here is my guess:
- Recently many of holomember got cat ears
- Pekora wants cat ears
- Management said it is impossible
- Pekora wants to fund it with her own money
- Management still said it is impossible

Err no she mixed a raffle with what the others do aka a contest of things to be show on stream, the difference is that there is no direct prize for the fan and it doesnt cost anything to cover to do those kind of things

On the topic of Pekora's giveaway: in most (all?) countries getting anything in return for a 'donation' is legally defined as a sale. You can't 'donate' money to McDonalds in return for a hamburger, likewise streamers that give perks in return for a 'donation' needs to be taxed as a sale. So if she's doing a raffle because of the donations, one could reasonable argue that all donations following such an announcement is to buy an entry into the next raffle. Which would cause a legal headache for Cover. If she would have announced that to celebrate a milestone she's giving out N prices to the viewers, that might have been more palatable to Cover.
