Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

  • Suicide Girl model and America's Next Top Model contestant have it, spread on Tumblr, that's why.

Powerlevel: This genuinely pisses me off i feel as though artists are getting lgbt people and shoving them in places where they don’t need to be, never showing what actually happens to them but just put their flags in and say look representation and people eat it up. They preach about gay and trans rights in countries where it’s safe to be and never talk about the Countries where they can be killed, as a trans guy who came from a country where I could be beheaded for who I am I don’t want this pansy ass fucking represention which doesn’t do shit for actual lgbt people which are in real danger

Yeah, I wish Americans would actually try to do something about the actual horrible conditions in 3rd world countries and not sit on their asses and complain about useless things on the internet.
Unrelated note; the art is pretty nice.

I find this specific picture cute because they are similar to holiday-themed recolors, but I completely get where you're coming from. People tend to think I'm on the more "radical" side of the lgbt community simply because I find sayings like "trans rights" totally useless despite some people's use of them to try and push acceptance.
That's not how you make any social progress.

I found this on my explore feed:

I looked at the rest of their profile and most artwork that's fanart, I could not tell who the characters were without looking at the hashtags to save my life.

Only thing I’m confused is how this trans artist manage to make Hatsune Mike more decent looking and not turn her into a grown man with a bulge under her skirt.

Bonus:

I think its for the ugly ass "scenecore" revival, even though scene didnt really involve... using stock images for art?
also fucking lol about the first screenshots... you can tell this person is a Sleepykinq fan for their overdramatic use of filters for their kokichi(?) art to the point its hardly visible

found on a random neocities page

Captioned "this is technically finished right?" because putting in the effort to fucking finish your shit doodles is patriarchy

The art gets more normal as you scroll down, possibly a result of newer art being added up top plus art style degradation. They have a deviantart account linked but I'm afraid to look at it.

Sorry to interrupt the conversation but Twitter is having another shitfit about an artist Javi_Draws having an opinion on Y2K fashion and some other stuff (Haven’t seen screenshots of it so I’m not believing it.)

It kills me whenever we have these “artist cancel” tags ‘cause then clout chasers always tend to pop up in the tags.

This isn't so much scenecore as it is "kidcore," which is like, cutesy kid shit. I think the png stock images are supposed to be like slapping stickers and random things you like on your art, which is something a young kid would do.

Bonus:
I thik the random pngs on thier work should make a artwork more "aesthetic" (mainly scenecore, webcore, y2k, animecore, McBling) more stylized, like in 2000's blingees, photos

>SJW artist trying to gain clout from a public shitshow.

Why am i not surprised in the least? Plus, what is the obsession of SJW artists in making Hatsune Niggu?

I don't understand the obsession with Miku at all.
She is a above average designed anime UwU girl.
I cant see why she would stand out above any other character designed in the past twenty years, other than if you pay Yamaha you can make her sing or say anything you want.

The accused artist is Javi_Draws. I never followed her works but she seems to be a very talented environment artist (is teaching her own online class and apparently has an agent).

From what I could gleam (and what I could get from vague mentions because twitter users don’t know how to archive shit) Javi_Draws said some anti-black things and supposedly is anti-BLM...but I think she meant to say that BLM wasn’t an international organization, not that black oppression is an American only problem—but this was the beginning of last summer when the protests were firing up.

Her tweets about BLM were only brought up because she said that she found the Y2K fashion aesthetic ugly and bunch of people went “oh so you hate black fashion????? You hate black people????? Black people invented Y2K fashion so if you hate the fashion you must hate black people!!!!”

It’s dumb

Miku is instantly recognizable and a (relatively) inoffensive design for normies to get into. There is also the fact that there is no lore established or personality of such for the vocaloids so people can more easily project onto her and her friends.
