I'm trying to follow what you're saying here. Suisei did art for Kanata's 'other' channel, and talked to Kanata on her 'other' Twitter account while she was still on her Suisei one? It'd be nice to have receipts so I could follow along better.

Also, why would Kanata be her "idol?" Suisei's been around for years longer and is a much more skilled vocalist. That's just weird.

For receipts, I don't have a lot other than go look up Nozomu's channels and see who did her illustrations. https://utaite.fandom.com/wiki/Nozomu For example, her avatar was even drawn by Endolu, who's Suisei's old account.

As for following it, I had some terrible sentence structure, but basically. No, Suisei's been doing art for Kanata since before they were in Hololive and chatting on Twitter with their old accounts. After a video Kanata put out after joining Hololive, someone that knew Endolu from working together with her on a game commented about the art from Suisei being similar to Endolu's. Well, 5ch already knew who Kanata's real self is, so when double checking Kanata's Twitter, they noticed that yep, Nozomu and Endolu chat and work together a lot. Much like Suisei and Kanata quickly "became friends".

To explain a bit more, she's done art for Kanata's personal channel for a while now and thus when she did it for Kanata's Hololive channel, someone she made a game with (she did the art for) commented on 5ch that he knew that art style and talked about the game he worked on. I may even have a link to that game still. She's also totally a fan of Kanata, so that's how she even started chatting with Coco, especially about the Holohouse. Suisei got a good deal, two really close friends and living right next to her idol, who's now one of those friends.

Don't know how that's a pff on my comment. The fact that there is zero info and irl stuff about her on internet didn't change. Endolu stuff is out there, but it doesn't extend beyond song cover, a few fan art, manga, and video edited by her.

Oh okay, I get it. Yeah I never paid that site much attention once I saw how fucking ridiculous and incorrect their "age list" was lol, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had a lot more bad info besides that.

That's interesting, they must have known each other since they were still teenagers. Wonder how they even discovered each other. Shame Endolu's Twitter will forever be in lockdown mode now though, since I'm sure she's well aware all this info has been outed. Kinda funny how much sooner Suisei joined the "big time" compared to her buddy. But at least now I have an idea of who referred Nozomu to Hololive, lol. Funny, when you dig deep enough, you can see most of them had the good word put in for them by someone else already inside.

Interesting. It's a lot harder to dig further with the language barrier, but the style checks out as far as I can tell. Is my observation still correct that she doesn't post her IRL at all?

Suisei and Kanata is very close and been working with each other since teenage. They're close enough to congratulate each other on birthday, so I guess their relationship extend beyond professional level (Endolu even jokingly call Nozomu darling like she did to Toko lol). About Suisei refer Kanata to Holo, I'm not buying that rrat, since their debut date is actually very close (Suisei redebut into Hololive on December 8? Kanata on December 27.) Not to mention that Suisei position in INNK wasn't a strong or happy one. I doubt she have enough influence to sway the company. Maybe Suisei just told Nozomu that the audition for gen 4 is opened? Still, Nozomu is a long-running and relatively famous name herself, so it's not weird for her to get chosen.

I'm more interest on how Coco and Suisei manage to hit it off so soon. She even get Suisei to be her "fall guy" 5 day after her debut on December 28. Maybe it's just that she know Kson since she's a big name in Niconico.

Coco get Suisei as the Ketsumochi "fall guy" for her first chatting stream. Coco : "Suisei is paying for ALLLL this shit!"

Quick search shows that Aizono Manami (Nijisanji) is letsplaying Xenogears and is in Shevat right now.

But in all honesty a mainstream vtuber playing a 60-80h long jrpg (or DOS games or anything else the audience may not recognize) is unlikely. Someone dedicated to a particular genre/title may do it (Coco with Yakuza games, Korone with games from eighties-nineties and so on), but I don't think there is a vtuber popular among English-speaking audience willing to play Xenogears (MAYBE Kiara, but she will drop it during Nortune sewers section or earlier).

Oh how right you are about them recruiting each other. Fubuki chain reactioned all of Gamers and probably Towa into joining, for example. It's all very funny.
 
I know Square Enix's softened up a bit on some streaming rules, but do you really think they'll be able to monetize something co-owned by Disney? Altho, I'd damn well love some KH streams, so I hope y'all're right.
