Her voice is fine, really. It's not a downright trainwreck and she genuinely doesn't talk that much on her stream anyway (though I guess that's not what a streamer supposed to do). She's does however, boring as hell to listen. Her voice is very unenergetic even when she's supposed to be excited, her bgm volume is waay too low and way too chill to cover that, and when she does talk she really didn't say what you haven't heard before.

Artemis is a indie vtuber that weaseled his way into the scene hard via shekels and using Domo to over hyper himself, his main gimmick is being a unfunny "im gay look at me" twat on twitter, being a bootleg (he debuted a little after Holomyth was announced using his avatar that is a shark like gura) and simping Hololive hard, several Kiwis and autistic detectives inmediately noticed that his streams are more him filling time to paddle his resume to try in the big leagues, that is why he simp hard Hololive with red superchats, the problem is that he overplayed his hand one time in a Kiara stream, his autist raided the chat and he had to apologize to her, more hilarious thing? Kiara believed it was Gura on chat and not him

That's basically correct. Autotuned voice (to cover up pitch) and blatant clout-chaser. By "clout-chaser" I mean that he's very active on twitter and got astroturfed by some dude, also spends money to try leech of Hololive popularity. He also pirated their concert and claimed he couldn't afford it (obvious lie). Not a full-blown lolcow yet but basically no redeeming qualities.

Her voice is fine, really. It's not a downright trainwreck and she genuinely doesn't talk that much on her stream anyway (though I guess that's not what a streamer supposed to do). The reason why it sounds that way is because males tend to use less pitch range when speaking, i.e less expressive. It doesn't sound weird because you're used to hearing it, but when you change the pitch to a female range it just sounds deadpan. I believe there are ways to cover for that but then you're adding more artificial distortion.

Kiara is not a hardcore JPRG players, if people believe for a second that Atelier ryza or Fire emblem is super hard, let me tell you, it is not, is like saying Neptunia is hard when there is absolutely no deep in the mechanics, Xenogears is also technically not hard but very grindy, specially at the start that the game let you breeze very easily until you hit the palace of the desert town

Also someone reminded me that they already had Square permits but apparently all Hololive forgot about it, because Kanata actually played Chrono Trigger, wonder if now that they have Nintendo AND Square enix permits someone is going to dive into Super Mario RPG

Probably, I'm either too dumb or too apathetic to care about whether she sound right as a "female". She just sound okay-ish to me, and for all I care that's good enough to give her a chance. The voice isn't really a factor. I know a few women who have a similar voice to what we heard at debut. It definitely is out of the ordinary though. It could be real. . . so I give the benefit of the doubt regardless of that image posted earlier (I've seen much oilier, mannish women). I'm on the fence honestly. But in every form known I find Artemis incredibly unattractive.

Any comparison to Towa is absolutely idiotic though. Her voice is very much female in everything but pitch. . . which is the shakiest of determining factors for vocals. Of course, this argument is devoid of the fact that I find her facedoxx incredibly attractive.

I am trying to learn mahjong. Man, that shit is not easy

I have learned some mahjong (to the point where I am able to win something in Yakuza games) and it makes following Coco's streams (where she put some serious hours into mahjong) actually fun. It can be quite exciting to follow as long as you know the basic rules and played some games yourself.

Xenogears is also technically not hard but very grindy

The only point of Xenogears I would call grindy is discovering new moves, but you can do just fine as long as Citan is in the team and you upgrade your Gears regularly.
The main difficulty in making a show out of Xenogears is how text-heavy this game is and the story, which incorporates elements from judeochristian mythology, gnosticism, psychology, sci-fi concepts from various books, genetics and so on, all presented in sometimes very hard to follow way. Explaining it to a casual viewer takes some preparation and further reading, and - in short - requires dedication. Oh, and the whole "priests fucking children" story fragment this may be actually against the rules of Hololive.
