Most of the time, yes. It's even more difficult without handwriting. Most people on the internet type about the same. The person in question would have to have highly distinct grammar and vocabulary like the unabomber.
And wow this is one strange thread. This guy is obviously slow in the mind but I sense an undercurrent of degeneracy as well. Also, these idiots don't realize that banning moles is playing whack-a-mole. You ban one and another becomes apparent. You also risk banning legit sped fans.

You'll be pleased to know that... that's pretty much the entire "investigation" up to this point. It's honestly been mainly screaming in that channel and PL being a sped. I attached a fresh rip of the investigation, and I'll attach another when everyone in the server has been investigated. I'll also rip the entire server again when that's over and done with. [Edit: Important to note that a mod is doing the main investigation, but Leaf pops in every here and there to scream at the top of his lungs.]
(Also, I can confirm there is indeed a staff channel, and it's named #the-higher-ups-channel. It's privated to only staff. Regular members can't see it.)

Late (didn't realize the thread made it out of Proving Grounds) but only the strictest of fundies had it out for Pokémon. Myself included, I've known plenty of Christians and other religious kids who played/watched Pokémon, so him growing up in a religious household I don't think is anything special, nor will aid in a dox unless it turns out he's from a very specific sect/community like if he's an ex-Amish or Westboro Baptist or whatever, I dunno. Him going on a rant about human evolution and how talking about it is not allowed is funny, though, as is anti-LGBT discussion in his Discord since it's sex-related and that's not allowed. And with his comments about blacks, he'd almost be based if he wasn't so batshit insane and violent at the drop of Leaf's hat. Terry A. Davis, he is not.
A religious upbringing might explain why he's not institutionalized and that the family might still be sending him money out of the goodness of their hearts/obligation to take care of each other. They just can't have him in the house for whatever reason, whether that was on him or his parents.
