No joke, I was actually surprised that he didn't threw a shit-fit about Woody Harrelson playing Carnage in Venom movie cause he played it in a Pinball game once.

Kirby (rest his soul), has fans from other things too, He was Cole in Ninjago, Cyclops in X-MEN Evolution, Muroku from Inuyasha, multiple Transfomers roles like Rad from TF Energon & Armada & Hot-Shot from TF Cybertron (They even mourned his death on the TF subreddit & forums). Hell, I myself knew him from Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers. Goku was just part of the many things that he was loved for, even if Sean is more mainstream.

Sean on the other hand isn't known for anything else apart from Goku to actually be mainstream about. He wasn't even a VA, he was some Jazz student with a degree who was probably playing Sax on the streets & got in cause of Gen Fukunaga band o' roadside rookies for Funimation. Irony is, Vic cucks him in that too cause he worked with a famous band & has pretty famous albums (good sounding ones too). Sean on the other hand, was the worst part of Dragon Soul song, while Vic was the best part of it, among 6 other VAs including Sean. In fact, Sean has done many roles:

Carnage in Pinball FX3
Sun Wukong in SMITE
Lucario in Smash (for Wii)
Strong in Fallout 4 (literally just a random recording)

It's just Goku is the only role people know him from. Hell, the novelty of some of his other roles comes from it too. Sun Wukong? Goku's based on him, Lucario? Is considered the Goku of Pokemon world (I disagree with this, Infernape is literally based on Sun Wukong). In fact, only other role in DBZ itself he's done was King Kai & Nail too.

Because of all of this, he's overprotectively compulsive about being Goku, He hates TFS (& probably MasakoX too) for this, he hates other VAs who played Goku, he probably even hates Nozawa for this too, but Nozawa's too much of a legend to be petty against & he knows it. Also, being a legend aside... it's worse than pathetic to be petty against an 80+ y/o woman.

As I said in my other comment before, the matter of fact is that no one would even spit on his grave if it didn't say "Sean Schemmel, Voice of Goku".

In my case, I didn't even watch Dragon Ball in English at all, I watched it in my country's dub (I'm not gonna tell which dub, but it sounds fairly well for the most part). I just went to watch clips on YT & liked Sean a lot (I was 12).

Tho now when I think of the dub, I also think of Nozawa first. Even if she's not my favourite Goku.

That's actually one of the few reasons why I respect him to some mild degree. He at least had the balls to be upfront about his dislike for Vic and didn't goad Vic into any kind of pretense into thinking he was friends because at least Vic expected him to turn on him instantly. There's a certain level of tacit understanding when someone comes to you and tells you in your face "I don't like you because of this." At least you can say "That's fair." The line is established and there's no hidden blade lurking in the dark because that person is clearly holding it over their head, ready to strike you at a moment's notice. The only saving grace is that you can at least see it coming.

On the other hand if someone comes to you, hangs out with you, establishes a connection with you and you believe they are your friend. When they eventually reveal that they in truth, actually hate your guts, it's more damaging. You don't see it coming and it's not fair because rather than being upfront with you about it, they pretended like nothing was wrong and lured you into a false sense of security with them. It's manipulative, it's two-faced, deceitful, wrong, and it's not fair at all. You hug this person and while your guard was down, they lifted the knife they hid behind them and jammed it as hard as they could into your back. The pain is unrestrained because you weren't prepared for it. It's pure, primordial agony.

Understanding of course that I have my own pro vic bias, I just cannot see how this makes Vic or ISWV itself look worse in any way, nothing but completely standard internet behavior from people who adamantly disagree with controversial statements someone (in this case schemmel) makes. KickVic is not emboldened by this in anyway, at most they are stoked for the first time in months to virtue signal what everyone already knows they think and suck schemmel off if they're not embarrassed by his beta behavior.
