To be fair, normal women and men can have periods of feeling not like a real wo/man. Usually this is do having hard time with romantic or sexual fields, finding out about infertility, medical crisis that touches gender indicators or just not performing well at traditionally gendered areas or activities. Mostly people get past this like any other insecurity, working on it or accepting the situation. If dealing with something like that getting validation can feel nice but that's it. Validation isn't mandatory or something super grand, just nice.

Mini PL, but from 12-16 I was misgendered all the time. I don’t know why, I think they just mistook my autistic kinesthetics for womanly gait, but I didn’t freak out. And if I had freaked out over it do you know what would have happened? I would have been asked why being called a woman is so horrible to me and I would have been called a misogynist. A normal person who gets all wrapped up in their gender is an insecure moron, I think even conservative circles would agree that it’s not worth freaking out about.
And while the misgendering eventually stopped once I reached 6’, some people will remain naturally GNC and get misgendered their whole life; they learn to take that in stride pretty quickly because it's really not a big deal.
I've heard TRAs say that questioning the idea of misgendering being offensive is like questioning the idea of "nigger" being an offensive thing to call a black person. They really thought they got the transphobes with that, of course that's obviously a retarded comparison because there's never any context in which it's acceptable to call a black person a "nigger" (weird racial politics of that particular word aside), but there are about 4 billion different cases in which it's totally acceptable to call someone a "he" and 4 billion different cases where it's totally acceptable to call someone a "she". In fact, it might have been perfectly polite to call a particular tranny a "he" on Friday, then he posts that he's trans on Facebook over the weekend and come Monday it's now a hate crime.
Is there any other cause where a totally innocuous word like "he" or "she" gets twisted into the most hateful, cruel slur imaginable when you use it to describe certain people?
By the way, this whole thing made me think of this one comic by a tranny (he recently got famous for accidentally creating "the first meme of 2020", New Guy. I got this from his thread). In the comic some (presumably non-trans) guy throws a tantrum over being misgendered. Understandably he's the butt of the joke and he does look ridiculous, but if the guy had been a pube-bearded TiF the protagonist would suddenly have been a villain because the gender feels of troons are the most important things in the world.

Same for me. I was misgendered from 12 to 22 years old. The funny thing is that I only recently found out that people thought I was trying to be a troon in my early twenties (yikes). But do you know what that showed me? It ain't that bad to be a troon. While people still thought I was a girl around 14 years old, in my early twenties people (As a weak homosexual, I've got quite thin bones. So people were sometimes confused by my fragile stature, but very deep voice and somewhat masculine face) started to think however that I was trying to transition. So it makes sense that when I said my name once in Starbucks the woman who was taking the orders just understood my name falsely and put a female name on it. It showed me that people actually tried to respect my non-existing troon identity lol. What was the worst thing I've experienced in public? People laughing behind my back or saying things like "Are you a woman or a man?". Is this uncomfortable? Sure. Did I want to kill myself because of this? Fuck now. Even the Muzzies were quite respectful to me. One thing I should add is, however, that I wasn't trying to be a troon. Hence people probably perceived me as authentic and not a try-hard. Maybe this made them more respectful towards me, I don't know. The only bad experience I had was a black refugee who tried hit on me because he thought I was a woman. But this wasn't uncomfortable because I was a pseudo-troon, but because I was harassed.

Anyway, I noticed they had a sub forum for FTMs, and I was curious to see what they'd post their, and how the AGPs interacted with them.
Anyway, FTMs are pissed that there is some form of gatekeeping when getting allowed surgeries. Strangely enough, while I find it extremely creepy that the first three comments on this were from AGPs, but compared to the FTMs response, one sounds positively sane and the other at least sound calm and rational, and do think there should be some form of gatekeeping, but without explicitly saying so, expect for one. But they might only sound more rational because these dudes are in their 50s and 60s, compared to these women are are likely mid-20s or younger. Anyway, enough of my blathering, here's the screenshots.

I've seen mtfs doing that edgy "I'm the real woman" act by referring to themselves as women, and to women as cis, or non-trans women. It's in the same vein as when they misgender people who criticize them to "give them a taste of their own medicine". It's just trannies projecting their insecurities on normal people to cope.
