Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

Understanding of course that I have my own pro vic bias, I just cannot see how this makes Vic or ISWV itself look worse in any way, nothing but completely standard internet behavior from people who adamantly disagree with controversial statements someone (in this case schemmel) makes. KickVic is not emboldened by this in anyway, at most they are stoked for the first time in months to virtue signal what everyone already knows they think and suck schemmel off if they're not embarrassed by his beta behavior. While the most disingenuous can and likely will try to claim Vic is responsible, the connection is so pathetically tenuous I can't see it affecting him in any legal or business capacity. Basically, anyone who hasn't already canceled Vic over the last 2 years won't.

All that said, personally I hope people continue to milk these funimation fags for all the humor they can produce.
Yeah, I suppose in a way I'm being overly cautious and over thinking things.

I should learn to just enjoy things for what they are more often in retrospect.

On one hand, as a Kiwi I think it's faggoty to poke the cows instead of simply observing them. I also thought it was gay because the stream got nuked before I could archive it.

That said, the raiders weren't Kiwis, so what they do is what they do. Also Robot was able to grab the juicy bits, so we have archives.

And, to be fair, without the raid we wouldn't have seen that insecure manchild melt down and seethe while pretending everything was a-OK.

Least we can take comfort in knowing that Sean is so unlikable as a co-worker that he hasn't done voice-acting work (or possibly any work at all) for months, probably not since Super ended. FUNimation is still cranking out dubs, but they haven't called him in to do anything. He's openly hoping, wishing for another Super season to be made especially since the manga's still on-going, and yet, huh, no announcement on a continuation just yet. So he's financially hurting, possibly, because Goku is literally is only source of income at this point. And if there's no Goku to scream into the mic for, there's no money to be made.

And that's karma in the works.

I've literally never heard Schemmel in any dub that wasn't DragonBall.

The last FUNimation dub he lended his voice in was Pop Team Epic but I don't remember for which episode. His roles are rather scant in terms of FUNimation dubs, but he had more work when 4KIDS was still around. 4KIDS' collapse I'm sure was a huge blow to him, but Sean must've thought Goku would be forever back then. No one expected the lockdowns to occur last year, but I guess he thought Toei was still going to crank out more Dragon Ball.

When did he start up his Twitch account, again? It was in response to the lockdowns, right? Oh yeah, definitely hurting.

He has minor voice work in some other anime and games. I know he plays a minor character in the Berserk anime and he also voiced Ladiva from GranBlue Versus. He also voiced that dirty bandit guy in Borderlands 3, I forgot his name but he appears very early on in the game. Funny enough, Marchi voices the deathfat lady who runs the car stations. Goku is Sean's most well known role and also I think one of the only ones in which he stars a leading role?

Most of his other work is just side piece stuff.

It's just Goku is the only role people know him from.
Isn't VA'ing Goku just yelling a lot?
They said not to go after them and they did anyway. You and the rest of them want to make yourselves look like fucking deaf idiots, be my guest. But don't drag everyone else along with you,
So why are you sperging at people here about it? Go complain to the speds actually doing it. We're just laughing at it because it's funny seeing this thin-skinned fairy losing his shit about it. And who gives a fuck if KickVic act like victims? They're going to anyway.

Why are you bringing something up that's already been settled?
Can you read my other posts before you chimp at me about stuff I said hours ago? I know you're not this stupid.

He has experience doing multiple roles.
So I don't know why he's so obsessed with being the best and only Goku. He should take pride in all the roles he's done instead of just hyper focusing on one singular one, even if it happens to be the one he's most known for.

I can't even stand to listen to Goku in english dubs anymore without the whole "Look at my faggy son and his faggy fucking clothes".
I think I've said this before but he also talked about faggy clothes in the Berserk bloopers too.

Easy there, tough guy. There are more important things in life than Dollar Tree Kakarot.
In my case, I didn't even watch Dragon Ball in English at all, I watched it in my country's dub (I'm not gonna tell which dub, but it sounds fairly well for the most part). I just went to watch clips on YT & liked Sean a lot (I was 12).

Tho now when I think of the dub, I also think of Nozawa first. Even if she's not my favourite Goku.
Probably the only notable thing that Super Low-Budget Saiyan has done isn't that he voiced Goku, but that he made us aware of other guys who voiced Goku.

Hey, don't insult Dollar Tree like that. Dollar Tree has a lot of stuff to offer.

And that Funi wasn't the first to own certain licenses, for better or worse

DBZ (apart from Saiyan Saga, Otherworld Saga & Buu Saga) doesn't have much screaming. GT has even less screaming & more talk, which is kinda ironic cause Sean passed out doing the SSJ4 scream). However, there is a lot of grunting & panting tho.

DBS has more screaming than general. But yeah, DB is more than just screaming.

Every device I have autocorrects the fool out of everything I type; even if it was intended. These dweebs can't spell to save their life or my sanity. For cryin' out loud.

BTW, @PorkeyDuck is the most weaponized autist I have ever seen in disseminating these massive spergouts on Twitter. I'm guessing the pandemic has activated this but I am grateful that I rarely have to venture in amongst the Twits because of the duck's efforts.

I'm loving the Twitch stuff Vic is doing. Kind of warms this cold dark heart seeing how people light up when they talk with him. And the fact that @Squally has effectively Boomer proofed his streams makes it that much more enjoyable.
