Genuine interest.... what jobs typically require 3 rounds of interviews? I know gov/military/security positions can have several rounds but what else?
In my experience any position that involves a large corporation has 3-5 rounds. Asian corporations make an entire field day of it where they make you sit a written exam, then grill you for 2-3 rounds of interviews (middle mgmt, HR, Legal), then place you in xxx got talent style auditions, then do a one on one.

Rhys is also probably exaggerating here, in his case the "initial round" was merely sending his CV, the "second round" a short phone call to confirm he is still interested and to schedule in an interview, and the "third round" was the actual interview.

Many govt positions (including academia) have laws about anti-nepotism and fairness in hiring, and so have to go through the motions of advertising and interviewing for a position that already has a preferred internal candidate. Getting an interview means jack shit in these circumstances.

Thanks for reading!

In typical tranny fashion, the nobody Halcyon Ember tries to make the thread about him, and in typical coomer fashion, Rhys turns it back to sex.

I literally entered "endogenous testosterone and aggression" in Google and here is a review article and one meta-analysis that shows a weak correlation. If you, unlike Rhys, think exogenous T would work the same as endogenous T, here is one interventional study in men that shows a positive correlation.
Still, you can't use Estrogen to "counteract" Testosterone. Mitchell Slater is right: this will make him a short-fused bomb with mantits, just like, you know, every troon.

At long last we find one thing that Rhys isn't the world authority on:

If only Rhys respected the wish of women as much as he respects the preference of his dogs!

‘i figure out what argument I want to make, then do reading’

aka he decides what position he wants to take and then goes cherry picking for anything that half supports it
Breathtaking that he just openly admits to bad scholarship like this

If your doctor is pointing out that the hormones you’re abusing are fucking with your bone density to the point you’ve got a fracture you wouldn’t normally expect, you’d do well to listen to them.
Loss of bone density is a big deal - it’s not just the stereotypical leg fractures, if your spine starts to crumble you’re in for a lifetime of agony, on top of the fractures, hip issues, joint issues, risk of major bleeds when that femur goes, etc. And it’s not just ‘adult’ hormones. It looks like the puberty blocker drugs seem to stop bone being laid down, and about half the adult bone density is normally put down in puberty. Troons who trooned out with blockers as teens are setting themselves up for a lifetime of pain from crumbling spines and breaks. I don’t know if there’s a significant literature yet on bone density issues in transwomen, but reducing your bone density from ‘able to support massive hulking male frame’ to ‘not’ is probably a quick route to the fracture clinic.
It’s such a goldmine of new research opportunities!
So yes, ‘please stop taking oestrogen’ is indeed a valid thing for your doc to say.

There's a trans woman in my family who is on hormones.

I'll just say that I don't think male bodies are meant to take high doses of estrogen and progesterone. This relative has told me about how his height is shrinking and how he's lost loads of strength and muscle and has crazy mood swings. He has kidney problems too on top of that. Those started after the crazy hormone regime started. As to why I don't say anything: that would be the crazy mood swings.

Doctors have told him to stop but that that does not go over well. His main doctor is from overseas (Middle East). I wonder if this doctor knew while he was going through medical school that one day he'd have to try to convince very mentally ill adults to stop taking unnecessary female hormones, lest they end up with the physique of a 90-year-old with advanced osteoporosis at the age of 40. That particular doctor isn't the one who prescribed this mess. That would be the endocrinologist (who treats transgender people) who sees my relative every few months.

These medical enablers are easily comparable to nazi doctors, or those jap doctors in unit whatever it was, using vunerable people as their own personal experiments. It is so twisted in Troonsville
that you might get called a nazi , for pointing out the dangers and suggesting psychological help, but the endocringeologist is lord and mighty saviour.

Excellent, Rhys! Only 48 hours after I nudged you here to update your Marty Stu fanfic epic with a new chapter on that magic perfect job you totally don’t need. A pity you forgot to tweet about that second interview actually ever happening, how you did an amazing job and almost certainly walked it. After all, you tweet about pretty much every single other example of how you’ve bossed the universe, so it seems an odd error - er, omission, I mean! Don’t want to imply you’re actually making any of your Epic Life fanfic up, do we!

Out of curiosity, when the magic perfect job doesn’t end up falling into your lap in spite of the superhuman brilliance of that third interview, will it just be down to the usual ‘cruel transphobic world!’ bigotry like you’re suffering in the ‘current’ (lol) tenure? Or, in a savagely predictable twist, will one of your evil TERF stalkers have somehow magically found out which fake org is ‘interviewing’ you, and will somehow poison them by feeding them dreadful lies about you and robbing you of that perfect, perfect job at the last moment? Ahh, you can’t say yet, I know - spoilers!

But we should find out in about 10 days - in the meantime, don’t forget to tell us in the next couple of days what a perfect interview it’s going to have been in this round, eh! Your fans are waaaaaaiting...

I have a sinking suspicion it's with the University of California and he's going to actually get it. They love a white guy "diversity hire" so, so much. He fits the Bay Area Woke failing upward profile pretty much exactly.
He's originally said it's not in academia and he could eventually move back to moose land. Not sure what he'd do with his booming trailer park business.

I have no idea. Probably some type of troon advocacy group but most mainstream troons know how toxic he is.
I'd say it's much more likely it's some position where a bunch of cis woketards need a token troon. Like that UC job. Anyone who would go to UC at this point deserves REEEEEES as a teacher.

He's a dimwit who tweets that using one sentence paragraphs and ellipses are examples of amazing and impactful writing techniques that he incorporates into his academic writing and "articles" (not had one of those for a while, huh Rhys?). He's also such a narc that he thinks HE came up with these techniques on his own. He's got such a comical lack of self awareness.
It's even funnier than this, in that the example of his brilliant one sentence paragraph is, uh, two sentences. Nice one, Rheeeeeees.

We pretty much determined it was the program director job here. He's saying "dream job" because he wants it, because no one wants him in his current position (including him). But the money would be less or the same, in a more expensive city, and he would be expected to actually work.

Yeah but it’s $100k+ instead of his current $60-65k right?
Although I don’t see how he can be qualified for the job. Here’s the first part of the essential criteria:

Fundraising is best done by people who don’t actively repel other people. Also Rhys would need a sound proven accounting/ fiscal management history, Has he claimed that? No doubt. Seriously though, a polarising personality is not ideal in a people and money interface. His relatively high numerics are negated by the fact that it is largely critical coverage. Rhys is a bully, and verbal and physical standover, for which Rhys is known, is not a good corporate fit.

I suddenly wonder if Jon 'Slingblade' Holiday's recurring back pain has to do something with this.
Can be, but these nutters are full of psychosomatic, if not downright fictitious, bullshit. I doubt Slingblade is on estrogen at all.

These pressure groups typically hire by nepotism. I'm surprised there were interview at all, much less three rounds.

We know Rhys takes Ambien for naps. Now he is trying something else:

Yup. A man will automatically get the same risk of rape as a woman if he identifies as one.

The paper he links is from something called Kennedy Institute of Ethics Journal. Who heard of it? Of the two authors (Rhys's friends). Lauren Freeman looks like a genuine woman; Saray Ayala López is a they-them that I bet is a woman. I've enclosed the paper but a quick skim doesn't tell me anything new.

At least Rhys could cite the controversial article published in the New England Journal of Medicine, but I guess the authors are not his friends.

Don't you know Rhys and his troon friends have a lot in common with pigs?

Hmm, but the vast majority of people either have one type of reproductive system (that produces sperm), or the other (that produces eggs). In medicine it can be very useful for a doctor to know which type of reproductive system a person has. Maybe we could call these very common variants male and female?

A huge range of bodies are not capable of bearing children. ONLY female ones can (even if not all do), and male bodies NEVER can. No one with a cock and balls has ever given birth, and only people with a uterus have. That's a pretty big difference.

If male and female have no real meaning, why does Rhys care about being perceived as female? If it's a nonsense category, then who cares?

Yeah but you're guaranteed to have that tenure job forever, unless you are a complete fuckup like Rhys. Meanwhile some troon "charity" is probably a ripoff of some sort and is going to go belly-up some time, either when the troon fad wears off or when Rhys, being a complete incompetent, personally runs it into the ground.
If male and female have no real meaning, why does Rhys care about being perceived as female? If it's a nonsense category, then who cares?
Troonery has no consistency because it has no principles. Troons just say whatever will get them attention.
