It is supposed to be pronounced the same way as Derek/Derrick and any other variation, it's just that Derich is such a super special boy he can't even pronounce his name right. Unless he does the German pronunciation which would be the way he pronounces it (Derich is just a variant of Dietrich which comes from Theodoric) but then again Derich doesn't live in Germany does he.

I feel like this is most likely the case of him being super special. I speak several of the ching-chong languages and not one would read his name like that. It feels like he's saying his username or a nickname that he or someone he knows has given him.

He went from averaging about 25 tweets per day to well over 100 tweets per day in the past few months. It's also 8am on the east coast right now, and he's actively replying to porn tweets, something he was also doing 5 hours ago.
