Calli knows full well she is inspired by the Japanese rap scene and works with those all the time but if this chucklefuck thinks that all rap is meaningful and deep then he's got another think coming. For every Gangster's Paradise there's a Hustlin'. It's not unique to rap either. People say Queen is one of the greatest bands of all time but even some of their catchier and more popular works are lyrically shallow. Fat Bottomed Girls is literally just about girls with big asses and Bicycle Race is about these same girls riding on bicycles. One of the reasons I despise rap in general is because so much of the lyrical content is shallow as fuck. Calli may be a white trash mall goth from Texas but she puts a lot of thought into her lyrics. The reason I like her so much is because of the thoughtfulness with which she uses her words and I don't really see any other vtuber doing the same with their original songs since it's all catchy poppy shit. Not that that's a bad thing, I absolutely love Hinotori but the lyrical content really screams generic shonen to me.

I feel like I don't talk about her enough but just to temper people, I don't exclusively like Calli; I also really like Polka but the opportunities I have to sperg out on her literary skills are few and far between since she'd much rather be wacky woohoo clown streamer than thoughtful lover of books, but her discussion of the actual craftsmanship of a good book is really something else. She's one of those people who would go nuts over an original volume from the 1860s and just admire the skill in the book itself before reading it. Calli is so unabashedly herself that she always seems to not be the type to invite wacky hijinks, which I wish more streamers would do but I guess being somewhat emotionally muted doesn't make for good entertainment.

So far they have been met with universal praise from fans with how no-nonsense they are. Oh yeah. The ID girls do not fuck around when it comes to this shit and are absolutely savage; even Ollie has her moments but the swordloli gives absolutely no fucks, even moreso than Reine.

I've read DAEMON X MACHINA shares the the same producer as Armored Core and was wondering if that actually translates to any similarities (I haven't played either). I bring this up only because if we're rolling off the pretext of permissions I would presume DxM would be easier to get permissions for cuz it's more recent and partially backed by Nintendo.

Is Armored core lite, it plays almost the same the only difference is that there is no huge options for customization

I’ll say that Daemon x Machina is enjoyable but there’s more emphasis on air combat than Armored Core.

I admit I wasn’t quite expecting what they wound up being though. I jumped to the end to see if there was anything awesome and... they still need a little more practice. Less Planet Coaster build tutorials, more complete chaos. But it still looks like they’re having fun, so I’m happy.

This is to be expected, she's with Kiara on their homiemoon so they did warn us in advance to expect a bit of scuff. Honestly Noel and Flare had the right idea by not streaming at all on their "just friends visiting romantic spots" vacation last year.
