Jack wrote screenplays for softcore porno in the early 'oughts and starred in one as a background extra.
And here I thought that Ryan's gnome cosplay or Michael's shit punching plumbing story was the worst pre-RT jobs. Anyone find what porno he was in? I need to see a young awkward Jack trying to act in softcore.

The most notable thing about Jack is the softcore porn.

This is the thing that confuses and pisses me off about Jack, he tries to act like drywall on camera, but going back to the Internet Box podcast and hearing some of the things Ray did with him, (Going to a strip club, getting block on Twitter because of My Little Pony) it makes me wonder if this woke shit is a facade for Jack. But then when Joel goes and acts like an ass to him, Jack gets buttmangled and uses Joel's political leaning as though he's worse.

So it seems despite promising otherwise, Rooster Teeth were actually lying when they promised to revise their crunch protocols after getting caught in 2019. A Twitter thread is going viral (Archive link) about new employee reviews from late 2019 to January 2021 that show the company's work practices didn't get much better after they were roasted for them in public. Notably, the reviews mention a particular fact that RT has an insider blacklist that they use to punish anyone who publically criticises the company, alongside confirmation that promotions are offered through in-office popularity contests.

I mean...if you thought they had changed anything and were still not pulling this shit then I would have to ask you to show me your toolbox, because I am pretty sure its half empty.

Oh, I was skeptical of any reform from the beginning since it was said in 2019 that RT had a long history of promising reform then never delivering. This is just a case where people came out and confirmed for sure that they got worked into the ground again.

No blacklist necessary. You publicly bash the company that is employing you, you get fired. This is not a difficult concept. This must be some Generation Z thing where they think it is perfectly acceptable to publicly criticize the company you work for with no real world repercussions as a result.

Granted that that's fair game, I have a feeling that if a complaint was made internally the results would be exactly the same.

The racist whining about white men also says the company is toxic. Gosh, can't imagine why a company filled with people like them is toxic, what a fucking mystery.
Also their job literally wouldn't have ever existed without white men.

This one and the above both make the same comment about free lunches and then complain about crunch, apparently being too stupid that both of those things are related.

So many of these mention nepotism, gosh that's a surprise.

It's a high school environment with the mean girl cliques that come along with it.

Honestly, none of this is even remotely surprising. I spit on their eventual grave.

I have seen this nepotism claim before about RT. Are there any actual examples of this? I get the feeling the people complaining are just changing the definition of the word nepotism to cover the company hires people they don't like...like white men.

You can trace back all misogyny culture claims and the unhealthy obsession with coworker's skin color and gender to when they decided to go woke and hire people that don't fit their gamer and humor culture but fit the anti-enlightenment left's acceptable biographical boxes. You never see all this bitching from the employees at Barstool. Why? Because they hire people that fit the business model and not hire people to score political points. RT reaps what they sowed.

Ashley because she was dating Burnie
Meg because she was dating Gavin
Mica because her dad is Levar Burton
Arryn was Miles' gf at the time
Andy because he was friends with Michael and Lindsey on IB
Miles and Kerry having zero qualifications for their roles other than they were working there at the time
Barbara was a community hire back in the day who is now creative director and just look at the trajectory of the veiws

Probably more examples that we'll never know about in terms of behind-the-scenes but RT seems to hate the thought of having to replace its current heads with people that actually know how to run an animation studio or even a competant YT channel.
