It would be rather amusing to watch him pitch a fit over how he's supposed to fit his superior future in with something like Kingdome Come, or Iron Man's 'betrayed by science' moods when his nervous system is burned out or someone stole his company, or Xavier and Magneto having an honest discussion about the future of mutants, or any Captain America book that isn't purpose made to smear the character and his ideals. Even actual comic books are too much for Bob, he can only manage the spoonfed cinematic versions.

Commedia dell'arte is hardly obscure. I think everyone would recognize Pierrot, Harlequin, and maybe Columbine if they saw them (except probably not Columbine because she was "the girl" and didn't really have a recognizable costume). Yet you go looking for a performance on YouTube, or the Internet Archive, or DVDs on Amazon. Fucking nowhere to be found. If anyone has pointed a camera at a performance and stuck it on the Interwebs, I have yet to see it.

Except this, a full color cartoon made in the late 19th Century.

See, I’ve got a semi-personal investment in this. I want more Batman movies. Lots more. And more comic/genre movies in tandem. I want to see the whole of the blockbuster moviescape dominated so completely by Geek Culture that it chokes the very life from almost everything else. After getting sacked from the Escapist a second time, his Patreon inexplicably shot up from $3000 to over $4500/month again; I'm guessing he put a segment in a video begging for more cash and enough idiot fans decided to throw more money at him. It began to drop after he got BTFO by Lindsey, but it's still hovering around that level. For reference, it took two years for his Patreon to slowly bleed out from his previous peak to the $3k point, and considering his lack of anyone else to support, don't expect him to be hurting for cash anytime soon.

One thing I noticed when looking at the graph again is that despite making about as much as he did at his previous peak, he has considerably fewer patrons this time. He had almost 1800 people forking over money a couple years ago, but after his latest bump, he only reached about 1400 supporters. The numbers work out to be about $5 for each new patron he got, so while it was a rapid increase in funds, it could also mean a faster decline if he continues to do retarded things that cause people to question why they're giving a fat tub of lard their own hard-earned dollars. Back then, each patron lost was an average of $2.60; now, it's $3.34. Food for thought.

One must have incredible luck to somehow attract 1400 people even stupider than you and get them to give you over 3000 a month.

The best part is how Bob thinks his pathetic lifestyle is normal. Getting into fights with kids in High School over video games, thinking working at Blockbuster prepared him for a movie career, hiding out in the car to avoid his family, drinking while playing Mario alone at night, only moving out of his parents house when he was in his 30s, his grandmothers funeral. If that's the stuff he's comfortable leaving in, one only wonders what he left out.

Can't Tweet nonstop while reading a comic book, or playing a video game, or reading an actual book, or having an actual hobby, or watching a serious film where you have to actually pay attention to whats happening on screen. Thanks to Internet Archive, I've been able to watch films that I would struggle to find elsewhere, such as Submersion of Japan (1973).
Toho makes a lot of films outside of the Godzilla franchise, such as those directed by Akira Kurosawa. Not that Bob would actually bother to take time off Twitter to do the proper research.
