I have mentioned Ash Hardell many times in various posts. Yes, she was one of the people who inspired Nyk to become non-binary. When he came out as trans in the summer of 2017, she came out as trans a little later.
Also, Bong context for both the absurd claims about the UK being massively transphobic, and PT being one of the most recognisable troons in the country: In 2004 around 9 million people (15% of the population) tuned in to watch trans contestant Nadia Almada win Big Brother by public vote. Brit TV has had plenty of troonery for past 20 years. News and discussion media frequently offer up troons for panel guest like Munroe Bergdorf (also a cow), India Willoughby or even that weird Antiques Roadshow kid who trooned.
Oliver's claim that the UK is TERFLandia is the biggest lie perpetrated in his polemical hyperbolic hysterical J'Accuse of a coming-out statement. All the available data shows that the UK is overwhelmingly pro-trans and hence one of the most safe places to be trans or transition in the world:
A poll by YouGov has found that 50% of the British public support the right of trans people to self identify as their chosen gender.
57% of women support self-identification, compared to 43% of men.
As every poll shows, women are more pro-trans than men.
The poll finds that 48% think schoolchildren should be taught about gender identity in schools; 33% are opposed.
Amongst men, that's 44% in support, 38% against, or a 6 point lead.
Amongst women, that's 52% in support, 28% against, or a 24 point lead.
Whats interesting when you look at the YouGov numbers is that support has GONE DOWN since 2019 56% supported in 2019 versus 50% now. Also the number of people who think trans rights should NOT be taught in schools has gone up. This is not a good news story!
Oliver must know these numbers, and if he didn't, he could've easily looked them up before he wrote his stupid Declaration of War Against TERFLandia. So why is Oliver deliberately lying about this, presenting the UK as being supposedly this incredibly trans-inhospitable place? Because he's utterly full of shit, is why.
When you combine that with the extremely violent rhetoric used against anyone labeled "terf" you start to get the idea that the Trans Rights Movement as it is currently is really an intentional trap laid to divide the left, and to further put down natal women. Jussayin.
The claim "that transgenderism was pushed to divide the left" is definitely some SJW bullshit. Look at the way TERFs are fighting about everything from motherhood, to make-up, to sexual orientation, to whether having long hair and wearing a skirt is inherently submission to feminine stereotypes and pandering to men. And that's just one sub-set of the SJW cult fighting over these things. If you've ever seen in-fighting on the left in general over the slightest of transgressions (who associates with whom, who fucks whom, who once hung out with whom, other such guilt by association drama), you know
the left certainly didn't need transgenderism to have even more fights amonst themselves than they already have. The truth is that the left is inherently divisive because claiming to want to build a better world, while lacking the means to do so, is de facto moral posturing which attracts a lot of control-freaks to the left that (again, lacking the actual means for change) want to gain power through thought-policing, tone-policing, being censorfascists and being the leftwing moral police. The left inherently attracts such people. If all trannies disappeared off the face of the earth tomorrow, the left would just find something else to fight over.
The leftwing TERF analysis of transgenderism usually goes something like this (this is a typical example of a leftwing TERF post):

Like I said above, when you're part of a movement that claims to represent all women but in reality considers it acceptable to refer to women that wear make-up, long hair and skirts as "fuck robots" and "Handmaidens of the Patriarchy", a movement that tries to guilt-trip women that want to be mothers, I really don't think transgenderism is the biggest division in your movement.

I personally do not find the fact that Nyk and Oliver no longer follow each other on Twitter to be significant. I am pretty sure Nyk was one of the first people who knew about Oliver's transition. I suspect it was Oliver himself who asked Nyk to delete these tweets. (And yes, Nyk has gone on multiple deletion tweets, he has also deleted many of his early transition tweets, as well as all of his pre-transition tweets about his favourite condoms - Nyk did the latter to pretend that he has always had bottom dysphoria and supposedly never wanted to use his dick in sex, which is a lie). I also suspect that Nyk deliberately timed his new JK Rowling video to come out just days before Oliver's coming-out statement. This to me indicates that, while Nyk and Oliver might have distanced themselves from one another in public, they are still communicating in private and coordinating their trans activism together.
