They’re not obligated to have “custody” now! She’s an adult! They could evict her if they wanted her out of the house, but they know she can’t/wouldn’t take care of herself. They got her the cat so she wouldn’t move out. If she can’t stand to be in the house with all three of them, the answer is she moves out. That she still assumes her parents owe her a home and food, and she does NOTHING for the family really grinds my gears lol. Once again Fuckow doesn’t realize that she is the problem. If her parents actually got divorced, would either of them actually be legally obligated to take custody? I mean, she's in her 30s, and unless I'm remembering wrong she wasn't found unfit to work, so if her parents got divorced and neither one of them wanted to deal with her anymore, they could just both lock her out of their homes and she'd be SOL.
Hmmm...in fact, here's an idea! The Cianfriglias divorce, and neither one of them takes custody of Steph. She's out on her ass and gets to whine and moan on Twitter about being homeless (so extra oppression points,) and her parents can get back together and go on living the remainder of their golden years in peace without an ungrateful shithead pissing in their cups and pelting them with bread. Everybody wins! Well, Stephanie's side is more of a pyrrhic victory, but a victory more-or-less. She's already killing herself physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually, what's one more thing on the pile?
Also, regarding psychosis, it’s so disturbing the trend of internet people claiming that mentally ill people who can become psychotic are not dangerous. Like, of course they aren’t evil, they are ill, but if they go off their meds and have a psychotic episode they can absolutely be fatally violent to themselves and others. It really sucks, but pretending like it doesn’t happen doesn’t help anyone.
