Honestly, with this whole debate about Metal being dead or not, I think it comes down to the fact that people aren't really fans of "metal" anymore, but rather specific subgenres. Somebody who is a fan of the Ramones may not like the Eagles just like somebody who likes Black Sabbath may not like Autopsy, despite those being Rock and Metal bands, respectively. I know a ton of people who know an absurd amount about black metal, but couldn't tell you the first thing about 80s Heavy Metal, for instance. I think something fitting the definition of a "metal community" is dead and has been for some time, but something fitting the definition of a "black metal community" or "traditional metal community" and so on, can and does continue to exist.

Damn, that's a pretty good channel, surprised at how few subs it has. He actually covers important bands outside of the typical Mayhem, Burzum, Bathory, etc, etc you usually see from channels like this, and he clearly knows what he's talking about (Well, skimming his channel and seeing vids on Dub Buk, Poccolus, Vothana, Lucifugum, Bilskirnir, multiples on Sigh, Peste Noire, etc, etc, etc it certainly seems like this). Not so sure about the k-pop aesthetic though, but whatever.

I'd say the kpop stuff drives away a lot of people, probably the fact he isn't a retard with a cannibal corpse t shirt and a bong in front of his webcam. Was about to say he's not autistic but I don't think anybody who's into black metal can be called not autistic.

Actually speaking of autism and metal, I saw someone say once that most metalheads are probably autistic to some degree. From my own experience I can say that's probably true and I have a friend who's involved with the hardcore scene in London who said most of the punks he knows either definitely are or probably are autistic.

Razor is just trying to connect to the 80s he never fully experienced.

Like me he was born in the mid 80s when everything was cool and Reagan was too..Appearantly?

Too be fair I love metal, but I also understand that music evolved from decade to decade.

Razorfist can't grasp that concept and is just permastuck in the 80s.

If MetalSucks is any indication of where the metal scene is heading, then it's as good as dead. I'm sick and fucking tired of all these people bringing up misogyny and wrongthink about music that was basically created as fucking shock value.

10-15 years ago, I was tired of all the elitism and the whole meathead neanderthal stereotype but I'd take that in a heartbeat over the pussies I have to deal with at any current day show.

Metalsucks is about as much an indication of what the metal scene is like as Kotaku/Polygon/other retarded publications are for gaming. If they're trying to shame a band for being nazis or racists or whatever that band is usually good so they can still be used for recommendations

Metal archive is a good resource but goddamn most of the reviewers and people on the forum are retarded trannies.
Another good way of finding good albums is seeing what people dislike on there. Bands like Helvetets Port and Tungsten Axe have relatively low review scores and are both pretty good. Basically anything that isn't Bandcamp band of the week

I dont know what he is getting at, the epidemic of opiods started way before we started going to war and Pfizer got there ass sued into oblivion because of it.

I mean, the opioid epidemic did accelerate after 2001, and a lot of veterans are hooked on the junk, but I don't think anyone has seriously alleged that CIA poppies were used in the production of Pfizer pain pills, if that is what Mr. Fist is getting at here.
