$200 a day x 6 days a week = $1,200 x 4 weeks in a month = $4,800 - 30% for taxes = $3360 a month. If you're having trouble supporting a woman and cat making 3 grand a month you either have an addiction or you're an idiot. Phil suffers from both. He makes the dumbest of financial decisions.
For calculation purposes there's actually 4.33 weeks per month which makes it even worse.

Whenever it's something good then it's "I". "I am the most prolific [sic] content [sic] creator [sic]™ [citation needed] ever"

Lol, I'm listening to his pREEE-stream mahnnolahg (you know, that 2h+ intermission before the 36m+ intermission while he simpers off down his hallway & leaves 277 people waiting, while he goes to take his 3rd shit of the morning, because he's a passag baby bitch & it's one of the only things he has in his life to lash out with & make himself feel powerful) right now & exactly as I read this line of your post, this line i highlighted fell out of his cock holster.

Opposite of a complicated & unpredictable creature.

E: Just said it again, lolololol. Faggot.

He was making "hundreds per day" playing the hot new releases, and in reality, he was losing "hundreds per day" because of the "thousands" in chargebacks.

You can't pay for this type of comedy. My God! I love it!

Edit: "I have gotten some people involved", in regards to SH.. Uh oh. Vidar and KG are on the case. Better watch out SuperFag

I'm refusing to call it a "pre-stream" anymore. It's the two hours of what's supposed to be a gameplay stream where he sits on his ass and picks his nose and rambles about garbage to avoid doing his actual job.
Not even that. It’s 90 minutes of what you described preceded by 30 minutes of him refusing to even talk, just have shitty remixes play while he’s on WWE Champions.

it's honestly insane to me that a guy could have the EASIEST job in the world, and then have to try and weasel out of doing it still, lmao

Only five years to catch up on taxes, huh?

Hell, let's go ahead and get a preemptive 2025 federal tax begathon going tomorrow.
God damn we really have been dealing with taxes for years lmao, one day those pesky taxes won’t be a problem!
I just don't fucking understand why Phil won't save money for his taxes. I'm shocked and offended that he makes the same goddamn mistake every year, all while berating his audience and refusing to follow their advice.

Next year's taxes are a problem for next year's Phil.

Are these payment plans a common thing in the States? Seems strange someone who earns so much is allowed to make minimum payments.

The USA could literally collapse tomorrow WRE-style and break up into various weird kingdoms, chiefdoms, communes, republics and whatever else, Phil could be living in the Grand Dutchy of Seattle and 5 years later he'd still be bitching about having to pay his federal backtaxes.

Or, as he's admitted, next year's taxes are a problem for this year's paypigs.

I couldn't tell you one way or the other, because I pay all of mine, all by myself, every year I've been alive past the age of 16. I know, weird, right? Was that a flex? Did I just break a forum rule? Hard to say in this subforum, isn't it?

All those things probably disqualify my input, but I can tell you that I never knew such a thing existed until a few months after I learned who he was.

They aren't common at all. The vast majority of people in the US have their taxes deducted each paycheck by their employer, so the IRS gets their due without the individual thinking about it. Unless you really fuck up somehow, paying taxes is something only self employed people have to actively think about

They are a common thing, especially for people who have significant wealth which they must pay yearly taxes on but which is not liquid, or readily accessible as cash. This would make your taxable wealth higher than your actual income, which many people would not be able to pay as a lump sum easily regardless of the money they have on hand.

Unfortunately, because the option is available to basically anyone and being on a payment plan when you're a fucking NEET like Phil with no children and very few responsibilities, it's a great delaying tactic so you have more fun munn--er, excuse me, rainy day money to play around with in the short term.

ETA that Phil was probably advised to pay quarterly by someone when he was making his Machinima Fuck You Money and the person who gave him said advice was likely working under the assumption that Phil would be doing things a normal adult would do with a high regular yearly income, like purchasing property and investing, rather than pissing it down his own legs in the form of a car he never drove and pixel wall art made for normie dweebs. That he still does the same thing now for his taxes, even though he is certainly making far less than he was at his peak, is just another thing example of Phil being the living embodiment of Newton's First Law

Soon as Null approves my LIMB emote....

If you're self-employed, small business etc, you need to make quarterly tax payments because no withholding is occurring. Of course, Phil's "quarterly tax payments" for Q1 are coincidentally due April 15th, same as fucking everyone else's.

And of course, though it almost never needs to be said, Phil has been doing this for over a decade and still can't properly estimate his owed taxes and have that money available when he needs it. The IRS is pretty fucking lenient about a lot of things because it's better for them for you to pay taxes than be in jail for not paying taxes. You don't even need to make a particularly compelling case to have your returns extended until October, you just literally send in another form saying I need to pay my taxes later this year and they'll acquiesce 99% of the time. Phil doesn't know about this at all because he's a fucking idiot with no real-world experience in the slightest.

DSP: "There should never be insta-kills unless it's a headshot with a sniper rifle"
Also DSP: "WTF that's so unrealistic you can't jump like that/eat that many bullets/run with that sniper rifle/quick-scope, CoD started out as a realistic mil-sim"
Phil should play Arma 3, crosshair isn't totally random, cant jump shot (mostly because you cant jump) die in two decently placed rounds, and can mute everyone on the server!
