Is Johnny reverting to tried and tested methodology? He shopped for women to sue for denying him ball waxing, Did he ring 30 times for a fire truck to generate a refusal/ clarification of service from TOL so he can sue? Is this his cunning plan?

My guess is that the Township of Langley had wanted to pull the trigger on this kind of bylaw for a good long while now (years I'd be willing to bet). But until now, they didn't have something on file that would be able to preempt any sort of costly legal challenge, especially since Jonathan is a well known litigious nut. They probably could've prevailed in such a legal fight, but it would've costed, and they probably didn't want to spend any more money on fatty than they had to.

So they waited until they had something ironclad enough to move on him. And sure enough, he provided them a glorious causus belli on a silver platter. The cost/benefit analysis finally swung in favor of the township invoking restrictions on his usage of public emergency services.

Could they have done this sooner? Sure. But they waited, and their patience has paid off. They could hardly have a better case had Jonathan tried grabbing at the EMT's genitals.

The TOL could vary their terms of service at any time if they wanted to. All they need to do is follow due process. Fatty has been a time and money waster for years but this time he’s given them cause, legal cause to refuse or place conditions on service. Fatty might have deliberately provoked them in order to sue. He has form.

PL: I had an elderly neighbour a few years back who, when his physical health started being problematic, paid for medical support services to come and help him in and out the bath - the jonathan yanivs of this world use the fire brigade, as their God-given right.

Was he actually there that long? Asclépiade is the house adjoining the clinic where people recover from the operation. I know we've been through it all before, but it all sounds sus. I don't have the autism to put together a timeline. We need confirmation about when he returned to BC.
