For some reason, they did all the starters first. Out of all of them, this one's the most decent IMO.
What is this, Digimon? Blaziken is a fucking chicken, chickens aren't really good flyers. Why would it get wings for?
As soon as we get to generation 5, things begin to get too wild. Christ on a bike, you don't need this many patterns and details in a single design. Not going to post all of the pictures, but the thumbnail for this video includes a Water/Ice Greninja, and part of its tongue-scarf being cut off by ice looks a little painful, don't you think?
It's literally the bottom one but the drills are yellow. A shame too, because bug/electric Beedrill can totally work, but they decided to be lazy and take from the already existing mega.
Y'know, with the popular "Gengar is Clefable's shadow" theory, I'm left wondering why they didn't make a mega evolution that borrowed from Mega Gengar's design and instead decided to make a dragon-type Clefable.
Not going to lie, I like the concept of Rapidash going two ways: one mega makes it more pegasus, and the other mega strengthening its unicorn qualities without looking like a My Little Pony
cough, Galarian Rapidash, cough.
I get the intent was to make it look "arcane" or whatever, but I don't think Game Freak would ever blatantly put the Star of David on a Pokémon. This is Pokémon, not Yu-Gi-Oh!. Maybe if they swapped the Star of David out for ambiguous "magic" symbols, it'd be a pretty cool design.
