Games Journalism General

As it should be. Dude is propping up the whole site by himself.
it's something even his fans keep asking to do for a while now, yahtzee shoulda pick his bags and leave the escapist, bla bla bla.

one thing he did was go to a e3 event with some editor and a cameraman to get alot of stuff in it. something that brought delight to his payp, ops, fans. he's quite comfy at his current position, has a work playing vydia, kids, wife and does his side projects here and there. overall he doesn't seem like the "serious joke reviewer" like when he started and i honestly doubt he even wants to get it from there, most of his videos lately are indies no one ever heard of that has some thing he may like it or not (probably paypig recommendations), what i liked is that pretty much every single game journo, including yathzee himself didn't even bother saying one ounce of negative thing about Cyberjank 2077, mostly twitch streamers and low-meidum sized youtubers that aren't journos that did glitch compilations and thing and trashed the game. oh and some niqqa on pcgamer complained that his character was trans but the world didn't react to that and the comment section had some dudes saying being trans is not saying yuo are trans every 5min or getting specail treatment.

I am actually surprised. The comment sections are ripping this dude apart and they haven't been locked or deleted(as far as I know). Are enough people on the internet finally getting tired of snowflakes demanding they be catered to specifically?

Anyone have video of the recent Tokyo game riot? The japanese have apparently put Black Friday in America to shame.

I don't see many outlets mention it, but many Yamato supposedly honorably stomped the faces of chinese scalpers.

To sum up, the Yodobashi Camera electrics mega-store in Akihabara (one of the biggest stores of the country) was selling a large shipment of ~300 PS5s. It should be noted however that it's apparently only one of two Yodobashi Cameras in the greater Tokyo-Yokohama area that does not require the retailer's black credit card to purchase the hardware as a mean to deter scalpers. What’s more, unlike in the past, the store gave out numbered tickets first come, first served. In the past, also in an effort to discourage console flipping, the retailer would give away raffle numbers for the chance to purchase the hardware.

Police came to the rather unusual scene, and the sale of the PS5s was furthermore cancelled until further notice. There were also reports of people who managed to get a PS5 at Yodobashi, immediately sold it afterwards to a pawnshop in the district.

Patrick Klepeck Tierney writes that what he wants from Fallout 5 is hatred of America.

Now that Fallout hype is in season again, here is what I want from the hypothetical Fallout 5.
Hatred For The United States

Fallout takes place in a world destroyed by greed, where aggressive world superpowers grasped for natural resources, with America leading the charge. The Fallout 4 intro tried to draw comparisons between the brewing nuclear war and World War 2, implicitly painting it as some sort of noble struggle against evil instead of a fruitless war that destroyed the world.

That’s why Fallout 5 needs to include a healthy amount of hatred for the United States of America. Fallout portrays the aftermath of death throes of an empire, and it can’t have anyone trying to add a patriotic spin to the end of the world. Certainly it can’t be hard to find writers that fit the bill in the current political climate.

That metal gear Solid rumor for PS5 looks like it's going to happen, Kojima's own Studio also may be involved with the development process.

Konami's current restricting strategy seems to point that they're getting back into games and will start by having outside studios make games with their IPs.

The Metal gear rumor was prevalent for awhile but along with it we're supposed to be getting Silent Hill.

I will die laughing if MGS 6 is made by the new KojiPro under contract to Konami. The sheer volume of conspiracy theories about exactly how much of the last 10 years was planned is going to eclipse the sun.

He was kinda assblasted about Death Stranding because he didn't realize that most westerners liked his Tom Cancy-esque set ups for his games.

So I think he'd be open to returning to metal Gear if everything pans out that way. His studio did advising work for God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn, so it's not like he's under a rock in terms of what's can work.

Patrick Klepeck is pathetic thinking that a video game needs to do this, is probably fat, and I would not have sex with him. I am embarrassed to share a country with him and hope he emmegrates to some place like England or Siberia if he hates this country so much.

I don't mind people disliking america, I dislike people whining constantly and hoping the country fails while they live in it. Just fucking move you joyless cunt.

Kojima's acted like he's been forced to bottom for MGS since forever so him doing 6 would be funny in a way. I'd rather see Konami handing it off to Platinum with a note that said "have fun!".

We already had that. It ended with an albino Liberian weeb cyborg fighting a nanomachine-boosted US Senator who somehow managed to bury a giant-ass murder-mech under a Pakistani airbase.
