He's gotten worse over the years. He only does low effort "podcast" style videos now. You can tell he has zero passion for gaming anymore, which I understand because it's meant to be a hobby not a valid career path.

And I like how he splits his "gaming news" show into 3 sections so he can put an ad in each one. Why doesn't he just do a fucking podcast if he's going to do videos like this? Then it can be an hour and you stick your shilling in the middle.

So basically he hates his "career", abandons what made him popular to do low effort shit content, spergs on twitter about flavor of the month leftist retardation.. its literally the end game of being a shit youtuber.

You could see way back, when he suffered from Nostalgia Critic syndrome and started bloating the fuck out of his reviews with lame skits compared to the little bit he sprinkled throughout in the beginning. People rightfully bitched about it and instead, he doubled down.

Same thing with the terrible movie reviews. Nobody subscribed to him for that shit and again, he doubled down.

All Irate Ignacio ever cared about was himself, no matter how alienating his crappy content was. Nonetheless, all his content is crappy nowadays. (I don't know about everyone else, but I remember in my high school/college days, I didn't mind him all too much)

I never really followed any of his stuff, every now and then for a big new release I might watch his video, but I absolutely cannot handle listening to the fake anger at this point. The only thing worse than a lunatic screaming his head off is a guy screaming even louder in fake anger because that's his "gimmick". That's nothing. Remember how Troon Sterling had a slapfight with Digital Homicide? The same year Jose put The Slaughtering Grounds as his second worst game of the year, despite the fact that he never reviewed it, never played it and even footage for the entry was from Troon's video. And the latter would bring that up like "The Slaughtering Grounds is one of the worst games of 20xx by Irate Ignazio" even though Augusto obviously just wanted to suck his not-yet-tranny dick. IRC that was the reason I stopped watching both of them, so pathetic it was.

I’d disagree and say it can be a valid career but like every career you need something that completely disconnects you from it time to time. Yet Joe seems to record podcasts talking about all his other hobbies and that is still time and effort.

Joe never wanted to put in the effort needed to prevent burnout or make his life easier. I still remember when he talked about making a schedule because people were bitching at him being lazy/shit at time mangement that much.
