By troons for troons, it has all the buzzword nonsense they can parrot to justify their behavior. This has no clear demographic.

Oh, other insane people then.By troons for troons, it has all the buzzword nonsense they can parrot to justify their behavior.
Man, Jake is exactly the kind of guy everyone wants to punch at the theatre. Also, the fact that he behaves exact like the Labelle self-insert from the porn comic is very disturbing.Furry comic

I think originally it was supposed to be for kids, it’s just that Billy has no idea what kids are actually like.I can’t figure out who the audience of Assigned Male is meant to be. It’s way too preachy to work with the SJWs. It wouldn’t convince anyone to be friendlier or whatever to trans people so it wouldn’t work if the audience is intended to be transphobes. It’s got too big concepts to work as a kid’s book despite the “cutesy” art style, how the hell are kids going to know what “cissexism” or “heteronormativity” are? This has no clear demographic.
I envy your innocence. It’s way too preachy to work with the SJWs.
The audience is one person: Bill himself.I thought the goat was touching the cat’s crotch in the second panel.
Nice description for the collection of comics, totally doesn’t sound like the author shilling the hell out of it.

Yeah when i worked at a theatre you would have to do theatre checks every 20 minutes and if people were doing whatever it looks like in the last 3 panes you get kicked the fuck out. The cleaners don't like the mess they leave behind afterwards...
”Alexa, show me some proof that the left can't meme.”In Poutine, Rando is named PNJ which means NPC

Okay, this one is KINDA funny in an absurd way if you can ignore the preachiness.
I'd say the comic was always obnoxious and inappropriate for its intended demographic, but I agree that the concept isn't terrible.AM arguably started as a kid/teen friendly comic. The concept isn't terrible, having a trans kid do kid things, with some education surrounding LGBT issues. It could work if written by someone with talent - the type of comic that would appeal to LGBT kids and families as well as "normal" kids. The tagline used to include "who happens to be trans" meaning that it wouldn't be the main feature but come up when relevant ie when talking about bullying, education, relationships, healthcare... the comic did start with that type of feel - the kids went on school trips, had sleepovers, they had a debate about bathrooms, Stephie had to work with Frank who bullied her and then came to understand her, although Sophie herself couldn't help but make it pervy and preachy. As the comics progressed, the storylines got worse and worse and the strawmans became more and more obvious. The comic as it stands is just preaching to the choir with weak storylines, bad social commentary and is not at all kid friendly at all. It might appeal to some young teens but they would probably also be LGBT or have LGBT family.
It'd be one thing if it was Stephie going on Little Nemo-esque adventures, and occasionally had to remind people "hey, I'm trans." The entire comic is a lecture from Labelle to the reader.I'd say the comic was always obnoxious and inappropriate for its intended demographic, but I agree that the concept isn't terrible.
