If you've got to budget out quarantining and COVID testing combined with traveling outside of your home town you probably shouldn't be making a budget film, full stop.
Also true :p. Dunno how well the new format of the dead little roosters series is working out, with everybody being in separate rooms and such, as I only skimmed through the first episode to see how they killed off their only sex appeal. But I think that that series might have been a lot better, if it had been postponed and made after the lockdown as well.

CAN'T FIGHT THE MOONLIGHT - 14 PHOTOS

Smaller set, just chillin by the pool at night after swimming all day, in this gorgeous vintage black one-piece. So MooOoOOoddyYyYyY!

Warner Media is probably way too involved in their business/finances for them to get away with it, but I do wonder if RT is just embezzling this money. Or if not embezzling, using it to fund their other dumbass shenanigans so that Warner thinks they're inexpensive/solvent.

Think about it. They (somehow) still have enough draw to instantly crowdfund a dumbass side project. Then they make some cheap-ass production way under budget and keep the change. Bam, you've got AH's entire computer budget for the year. If they keep doing projects like this, especially when they're protected from criticism by virtue signalling, they will make money by milking their fans every time. Or at least until the good will is gone. They haven't stopped squandering it so far!

Or it's a money laundering scheme, but RT isn't nearly that cool.

Not a bad point, if an optimistic one. Occam's Razor means the most likely answer here is that they're just genuinely incompetent, but the idea of RT being a long-con embezzlement scheme to get brand new, quality tech for free by classing it a business expense, and to also gain ready access to new games & insider info, is hysterical to me.

If we were going to give ourselves over to this insane train of thought for a moment, Burnie divested himself of all active work requirements at the company after permanently killing off Church in Season 13. which aired in 2015 but was probably being written as early as mid 2014 - the same year RT received a massive money infusion from the Fullscreen acquisition. The near-instant dropping of what was thought to be a beloved pet project could definitely be explained by him having no real connection to the characters or story due to it being part of the most boring Ocean's Eleven parody heist ever dreamt up.

Anyway, that's obviously not the case; I think they're just buffoons with little business sense. But the idea of it being the truth and the RT founders getting prosecuted en masse for stealing money from investors is fucking astoundingly funny to me.

She needs $25k to make a 10-12 minute short? Jesus Christ. Remember when Robert Rodriguez made a feature length film for like $7000?

How likely is it that she pulls a Miss Officer & Mr. Truffles here? Is 60% of the budget going to end up being dedicated to "merchandising" that never happens?

I've never cared enough to check the rest of the photos, but in all the ones I've seen posted here she has the exact same vapid, incredibly unattractive expression.
Oh yeah man, it's absolutely terrible, just like the other sets she has shot with Wes. It's an ongoing train wreck unfortunately.

What you don't find the, "I'd rather be doing my nails" expression hot?

Same. Someone said she used to model.... did she model really boring shit? Because that seems to be what she knows.

Very true. And they probably either meant her early modelling stint back when she was still a teenager or her modelling to promote RT merch, like these two pics.

Let's just put some context on the budget here for this 10 minute youtube video:

Following
Budget: $6,000

Primer
Budget: $7,000

Paranormal Activity
Budget: $11,000

The Blair Witch Project
Budget: $22,000

Slacker
Budget: $23,000

Clerks
Budget: $27,000

Keep in mind, those are all full length films too.
From what I've heard, insurance can be a bitch on film projects, and if she's paying union rates that'd bump up the cost as well. Plus, as was mentioned, Covid testing.

So I can see it needing to cost $25k. But in that case, why only do a 10 minute video? Might as well do something feature length.

Oh lawd, that ugly as sin Wonder Woman picture's in the background. Guess they don't feel any shame over that.

On one hand she seems like a person that would waste a ton of money on union labor but on the other hand she seems like the type that would publicly support unions but then quietly hire nonunion labor so that her project could be done on time, successfully, and at a reasonable cost.

So it's basically down to whether she's the dreamer type to support her cause beyond reason or a cold rational to do what's best for her, statements be damned?

On the third hand she seems like a person who would have no understanding about unions or permits.

A perfect match for her personality, and the personality of most of RT these days.
On the third hand she seems like a person who would have no understanding about unions or permits.
She's the type who speaks in support of unions, then goes out of her way to pay for non union labor that's MORE expensive then union labor under the assumption she is somehow saving money.

At least it wasn't the live action Cinderella from 2015.

Why do her black fans eat this shit up? It’s so condescending and they love it
Because at least on Twitter, black people truly believe they're a great force capable of doing great things, and they're held back by the white man and society, and it's up to them to show the true potential of the black individual and show their true history.

For the exact same reason *insert game/tv/movie character* was revealed to be *gay/lesbian/disabled/jewish*, it's because they're easily distracted by minor things. It's like jangling keys in front of a baby, nothing of value is actually happening but the baby thinks you're unveiling the entire cosmos for their entertainment.

I know you meant "loss of money", but I read it as "further losses of employees via horrible scandals".

Ryan can't have been the only one fucking fans at cons. He was just above and beyond hilariously bad about what he was doing. My money's on Andy of IB fame. He seems like the type.
Things would start getting interesting if it was a female employee who messed around with the fans next time. Or who secretly did something indecent at the offices.
