People get confused by the mixed message it appears to give.

But he had a suspended sentence of 28 months. That would be pretty brutal if they put him away that long especially since assaulting cops won't be a felony anymore pretty soon.

On one hand Ralph got lucky not going to the DC rally but at the same time his timing another way is really really bad.

They may reinstate the prior sentence, but they can also amend it or give out new probation. His previous sentence was three years in prison and three years of supervised probation, with 28 months of the prison sentence suspended. If he is convicted or he pleads guilty, and if they violate his probation and decide to dick him hard, that means he will serve out the 28 months of his suspended prison sentence back in prison, though I'm not sure on the probation. I think they basically say, "Yeah it doesn't count" though they could just decide to give him three more years of probation, and if he fucks up during it after COVID they toss him back in prison to serve out the remaining sentence.

i dont know if a judge would put much stock into "activists say this wont be a felony, its an undercurrent in current society" when rn its a heinous felon against people they know and talk to and enforce the laws they try and uphold.

side note just realized that micro analyzing ralphs earnings is actually helping him, he can bot or have his friends chip in couch money to look less of a financial failure streaming during the instances he knows im watching, instead of letting the general true idea hes declining hold ive been throwing ralphs propaganda fake metrics into everyone's faces and making some people think theyre real in an attempt to get more and more specifics.

The suspended sentence and probation stuff is the only way I can see it leading to jail time, but I tend to agree with your sentiment regarding COVID.

However I think the thing we can all agree would be the worst for him is if he was forced to go to AA and get drug and alcohol tested regularly as part of his extended probation conditions. That and being forced to admit he's been lying to his guests and fans this whole time.
