Does anybody remember the clip of DSP saying that after he placed 4th at EVO (2005?) John Choi and Alex Valle "demanded" he play in their unofficial hotel room tournament using an arcade version of the game, and he said he was exhausted and not in top form to play in it, basically saying he was peer pressured into doing it and it was unfair blah blah blah?

Well I was watching something with that interview he did after he placed 4th and I caught something I'd never noticed until now, which contradicts his framing years later of how the unofficial tournament went down:

In any case, now that the dust is settled... what was your "favorite" part of the retrospective? For me it's a tie between the very first video he watched (The Witcher 2 one) and when he watched himself get destroyed by CrimsonSky87 on Injustice.
The first one was just pure insanity. He said he wanted to watch it because it was the first time in his career he got hate from those dang dirty trolls. As he listened to himself sticking it to those '10 detractors talking shit about him he kept nodding, smiling, goatlaughing and agreeing with himself. WE'VE GOT RECORD LEVELS OF NARCISSISM ON DISPLAY

In the second one it was the same shit as the other fighting game videos he watchd. Current Phil was bitching about lag and moves not coming out while watching past Phil suck at fighting games and bitch about lag and moves not coming out. However, what makes it is the fact that he kept watching the CrimsonSky87 video for more than 15 minutes, his chat kept telling him that they're bored and wanna watch something else. Why did he keep watching? "I WANNA SEE IF I EVER BEAT HIM!" He stopped when he found a video where he beat CrimsonSky at Street Fighter 4 and was stroking his ego with that. Afterwards a wheelchair told him that he did manage to beat CrimsonSky twice in Injustice and his dopamine levels spiked once more.
What a fragile, pathetic, whiny, petulant little manchild he is.

Yes he is a fucking manchild,he is still butthurt after losing to a random guy 10 years ago, if I remember correctly that guy beat him like 18 times in a row and Phil got giga ass pain from it so he wanted to keep watching to see if he beat him at least once, his ego is out of control even after 10 years he can't let go from losing once.

I went to bed after DSP Tries it, but the Witcher 2 video was my favourite. Starts with a 90 minute prestream rant about trolls and detractors, the first video he picks (after some boomer stumbling around trying to get it ready) is a video where he shows a few seconds and stops it to rant about how it proves the trolls and detractors wrong. You can't write comedy like that.

Things that makes Phil immature:
- He is a mobile game addict that plays all day and spends all of his money on it.
- He still blames lag every time he loses.
- He claims every single game has game breaking bugs every time he loses.
- He still blames developers and says they should be spanked for creating a piece of shit game like call of duty.
- He makes retarded excuses about games all the time.
- He still puts no effort into his content.
- He lies about everything all the time (not very mature).
- He can never admit he is wrong.
- Everyone that contradicts him gets banned.
- He holds grudges for his entire life.
- He is extremely jelaous of anyone more succesful than him.
- He is still the most toxic person alive.
- He doesnt shower
- He cant cook for himself
- His office (and I assume his house too) is a mess.
- He gets to work late every day
- He is unprofessional,burps into the mic,doesnt read chat,doesnt upload videos in ord3r,etc.
- He is fat beause he is a slave of pleasure

- He wont tolerate anything sexual,not even breast feeding since its "shock value".
- Won't even look at women on screen or do romance missions because he is so mature.

Not donate or change my overall opinion of him bad but an overwhelming visceral gloom took over and felt genuine pity. I'm confident, from all of the lore and evidence I've gathered, that he's an indisputably bad guy but I couldn't help it.

Maybe it's because this is the first time I've seen this type of event (that he apparently does at least every year WHY?) but I couldn't shake it and had to shut him off.

The clip that made me extremely uneasy was him with his friends in the car in Chicago. He was seemingly a very normal guy. He might not have been the best guy but Youtube/money/internet destroyed this man. Smashed him to pieces. And now there's nothing left.

Best way to avoid that is to remember that the reason those people, and indeed anyone else on the planet, aren't Phil's friend is because he drove them off with his greed. Every misfortune he's suffered is of his own making

Those clips are from Texas Showdown 2006. Texas Showdown 2006 took place in March and EVO 2005 was mid-August. It's still funny that Phil is basically saying this shit like 6 months after they did kick his ass on an arcade cabinet of the Arcade version of SSF2T and guess what? At Texas Showdown 2006 Alex Valle took 3rd in SSF2T and John Choi took 1st. I like this match from EVO 2005. It demonstrates what a complete pattern player scrub Phil is. He mashes Super after he runs out of room to backpedal and completely gets his shit pushed in once his pattern is messed up. Then he finishes the round by panic mashing so hard to get out of a dizzy he pauses the fucking game Phil spends all his matches against this guy just backpedaling and doing MaxOut + Slide kick until he can mash super.

Wings never had "glory days", he's similar to Phil in that he was a whatever middling CoD player that maxed out his potential by playing seriously an insane amount, and turned that into profit by being one of the first on Youtube.

I suppose the main difference is that even Wings' haters can see there's a good dude behind the depressed disaster he is today. He was a lonely depressed fat loser that enjoyed video games and eating too much growing up... at least that's relatable. Jordie also made numerous attempts at quality Youtube content, doing charity stuff... things Phil has never done. Eventually, Jordie became a lolcow and gave up, but the Twitch monies are better than him working a real job, and he ended up stuck being the depressed fat failure he is now.
