Above that were Sam Hyde, Jordan Peterson, and Carl Benjamin, but nothing remotely "BreadTube". There's definitely something there but I dont know what exactly.

Thanks, it's the weirdest fucking thing, and something i've never seen/noticed before. Philosophy Tube doesn't even pop up in the rest of my recommends on the sidebar, it's just the next video on autoplay bizarrely often, especially since I haven't actually engaged with that specific channel before. Even more bizzare is that while I have gotten autoplays from Jordan P and h3h3, I've yet to have the autoplay be another video from Hyde's channel. Youtube putting their thumb on the scale for people they like wouldn't be news, but it would be interesting to me if they've started forcing "alternative viewpoints" after videos from certain channels.

Can someone do a sanity check for me and see what pops up in their recommended sidebar for a video on Sam Hyde's channel? Something like 90% of the time the next video on autoplay is from Philosopy Tube, and i've never interacted with (or even seen in my recommends) a video from them before. I know Youtube's algo can be screwy, but it doesn't seem to be a thing on anything else i've watched, and it keeps coming up no matter how many times I shoot the suggested video down as 'not interested'.

I got Contrapoints and PhilosophyTroon recs but had to scroll a bit to see them.

Sometimes if a video autoplays as you scroll on mobile it's counted as watched even if you didn't click into it, so you may have PT or related videos in your history and they're being recommended based on that. If you delete them from your history they should stop, or at least be recommended less.

Even more bizzare is that while I have gotten autoplays from Jordan P and h3h3,

I used to watch Nick Fuentes clips on Youtube, back then I could start a random NF video or a random Sam Hyde video and Youtube autoplay would keep me on topic for hours. Then a few months before the last great purge, something in the algorithm changed and when watching NF or SH autoplay would always pull me away from the topic I intended to watch. I'm 100% certain this is an intentional mechanic they can apply to certain topics.

Delusional psychopaths like Sam Hyde and Luke Smith giving life advice to their antisocial fans must be the most hilariously non-self-aware shit I've seen in a long time.

Not sure if it's controlled by him, just the only place I've seen any new youtube content from him recently (although I don't follow him very closely). His stuff for that channel is surprisingly coherent, and one of the somewhat recent videos should've been required watching for everyone at the CH protests.

In any case, the autoplay weirdness isn't happening anymore, and it seems I was the only person really seeing it. Pardon the schizo-posting.

Some months I ago I got constantly Lindsay Ellis videos in my feed. I always clicked on "not interested" because I'm really not interested in this cunt's stupid takes. Yet guess what, two days later I got another fucking Lindsay Ellis video. After many months I watched Ollies trooning out video and I'm bombarded now by his stupid videos. Strangely enough (not really) I can watch several Snoregon videos and get barely any video of him in my recommendations.

Is Nyk mad/jealous at Oliver?" basically got it all wrong. Nyk's new JK Rowling video was Nyk's very public response to Oliver's coming-out. Nyk made a 90 video attacking his ex-boyfriend's main enemy in TERFLandia to reinforce all the bullshit Oliver was saying in his coming-out polemic about the UK supposedly being this terrible transphobic place where you have to beg the government to let you LGBT-marry or adopt (none of which is true). And yes, I personally believe Nyk and Oliver reconnected in secret and agreed to do this together because Nyk was aware of Oliver's transition and of the moment Oliver had planned to come out publically. The very same way a narcissist reconnects with his ex in secret, as explained in the above video.

I don't know, that's a theory that doesn't necessarily sound more correct then what the people on 4chan are saying. At this point we don't really know what happened between them, all we can do is make educated guesses.

I just tried that video as well as a different one via Tor and I'm not really getting the same results, it's pretty much all more MDE stuff and Jordan Peterson and shit. Not saying that the algorithm isn't pushing this stuff over right-wing content, because I would say that it probably is, but I can't seem to reproduce the random PT videos in the recommendations that you guys are apparently getting.
