I never liked the whole farm/cow/milk theme to begin with - I voted for this place to be called "Kiwi Forums" rather than "Farms" back when we renamed from CWCki Forums. So I say more bird, less everything else.

I like the idea of the kiwi logo replacing the cow but I don't hate the cow either. It just doesn't look like a milking type cow.

As far as the corn lasers go I disagree with the others to an extent. It kinda reminds me of those commie emblems that have wheat on them. Gotta have the silk on the corn for that authentic socialist look.

The Yugoslavia one has the wheat curve around and meet at the top beneath a star. Maybe the cow can stay and just be made more female looking and the corn lasers (silk) can curve to terminate under the kiwi logo at the top?

That's not a bad idea, but to make a cow logo that looks like a milk-cow, you pretty much have to do it in profile, with udders visible to get that point across. And that little segment is a bad spot for that much detail.

OH! Why not reverse your idea with the COW at the top in profile, and the Kiwi Farms logo where the cow-head was?

I voted fancy, but with the caveat that the milkjizz lazers shooting out of the corn cobs look really, really terrible. Having any part of the design run to or even close to the edge looks terrible and as the brain behind the Vexillology thread you really should know that already. Keep your design centered and keep some buffer space.
