RPGnet Forums

LOL, Tanka just doled out a thirty day ban to some poor schmuck for 'rape apology'.

Well, I guess RPGnet admin would be well educated in being apologists for sexual offenders...

Here's the post in question. It's another case of "you're not agreeing hard enough!"

Uh oh, the peasants are revolting. Someone page TheWyzard!

Based mods denying female autonomy. "But she did seduce him." "Shut up, all women are victims!"

That kerobero ban is bullshit and even the mods know it because they gave that faggoty "WOW JUST WOW THIS IS NOT OK" non-answer that they do when there's no real justification. Just a quick backhand across the face for speaking up.

I wonder how the dearth of good RPGs contributes to RPGnet's spergery.

It really doesn't.

Tangency Open is the problem.

Get rid of TO, the board would... slowly... start to get back to sane.

Most of the real "problem" posters don't play RPGs much anymore, if they ever did to begin with. They're just there for TO. Unfortunately, what they bring with them bleeds out into the rest of the site.

Oh, this is going to be good.

I especially liked how Law Orc and Calliope are going "lol calm down" and "it wasn't that big a deal", which is exactly the sort of thing that abusers do when they get caught. Bonus for the replies pointing out the hypocrisy.
You missed the double standard on the meme-posting that Tanka created.

Furry is still butthurt that the furry porn thread got shut down but also still manages to hit the nail on the head.

Weebs aren't taking this sitting down.

Law Orc doubles down. Y'all need to get in here because this thread is going places. If they do actually decide to ban anime discussion except for specific curated threads then :story:

Ever noticed how a lot of "progressive" sites are managed by people who can't predict what the next controversy is?
Well yeah, if there were no controversies people might get bored and do something else.

Anyways:

TL; DR: The mods don't have the effort to do their jobs, so the onus is on everyone else to be the Stasi and be on the lookout for any violations of the increasingly stringent and rapidly changing rules.

In other words, we're not saying that it's your fault, we're just heavily implying it.

"There won't be a whitelist" There absolutely will be a whitelist they just won't tell people what's on it

They always fall back on the excuse that they're just poor little unpaid volunteers who can't police every thread and I guarantee you we're about due for another "Lets Thank the Mods!" circlejerk thread where the mods whine about how hard they have it while the posters suck their toes.

I'm incredibly tempted to start a sock account on RPGnet forums and just start spamming reports for everything that can be interpreted as offensive in any way.
The only difference between a long-term SocJus poster and a dire RPGnet hater is a thirty day ban on flimsy grounds.

Wait, the mods are saying that it's too much effort to do all the research?

They would probably ban you for making more work for them, even if you had a valid point on most of them.
