Why did Ghost Miku make me think of a Haunter dressing up as Miku? Is it the detached hands?

I loved this idea, the Gastly evolution chain all loved to sing and play with toys and dressing-up costumes in the cartoon. Here's Hauntsune Miku.

Why is moving hands an autistic thing now?

Autistics often "stim", or do self-soothing behaviour like humming to themselves, twiddling their thumbs, or fidgeting with something. The stereotypical autistic flaps their hands up and down to calm themselves. Lots of them really do do that, but it is a bit of a stereotype.

The hand flapping also tends to be associated with young children and people on the lower functioning end of the spectrum, so considering how many of these people are 20 and 30 year olds who genuinely believe they should be treated like they’re younger I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s also them trying to lean really hard into the "I’m baby" shit.

Birdo is the only one that’s literally a transgender girl and was confirmed by the developers. Here’s the quote “He thinks he is a girl and he spits eggs from his mouth. He’d rather be called “birdetta.“ According to old SMB wiki, the developers mainly referred to Birdo as a “okame”, a Japanese man who acts and dresses like a woman but doesn’t identify as female. AKA Extremely flamboyant male that pass as female. Throughout the years, it’s been easier to just say “Birdo identifies as female and is a lady, depending how you look at her”. Which is the biggest G Rated way to put a canon transgender dinosaur in a video game.

Vivian... That whole discussion is somewhat similar to Birdo, in which she is a very girly looking male ghost that can pass as female. For some reason they didn’t let Vivian be a male in the US and German versions of Paper Mario TTYD but in the Japanese and other versions they down right state/reference that she’s a male.

Sheik the only one that isn’t transgender canonically. Zelda only transformed into Sheik as a way to escape imprisonment and run around undetected. If anything, Zelda was just a tomboy and nothing deeper.

I wouldn't even say Zelda was being a tomboy, she was just wearing a disguise and that disguise happened to be male. The reason she needed to hide was that she is princess of Hirule and so to hide she went against that image. Dudes ain't princesses and there is already a blond dude going around saving the kindom...

The other two are completely fair and I have no complaints. Although I'm confused why the hourglass figure if Vivian supposed to be just an effeminate guy but each of it's own I guess.

The most frustrating part of that, to me, is how SJWs will draw a normal person and just slap the worst/most visible stims on top, as if a low-functioning autistic person seamlessly and quietly blends in 99% of the time except the one time they flail their wrists. HF aspies don't stim constantly, and LF autistics who do don't look normal. More evidence that they don't even know people with autism and don't care about representing anyone correctly, just doing what gets them asspats online. Though I guess we already knew they were disingenuous egotists, huh?

On the LoZ wiki, apparently people hinted at Zelda being a tomboy, which I guess was supposed to be a hint to who Sheik was. I've never played a LoZ game so I dunno the deep lore... Apparently they changed Sheik's figure to look more feminine to show that Sheik isn't this "transgender message". Despite that, it would've been a neat concept to explore. Having an alter ego and coming to terms with Zelda's role as the princess of Hyrule. (I dunno if they covered that in OoT so forgive me!)

Wish they could've replaced Sheik with Poison from Final Fight/Street Fighters since the developers literally called Poison a tranny to get pass US censors with hitting women at the time... but it would ruin the Nintendo theme.

Yes, they did. Also, in the OOT manga (although not canon), Zelda uses magic to turn male. I don't know why she's used as a trans icon when she turns back into a girl.

Reminds me of Ronald Searle's art, I could see them at St Trinian's. It would look better in monochrome though, the Draculaura is too garish and it makes it hard to see what's going on in the picture.

My understanding was the original Japanese used a verb that translates best to "mistakenly believes," so that's probably just the nips laughing at trannies again.
