a sub I enjoy (/r/hockey) recently had an outbreak of SWJ-itis when some post starting trying to push a "balanced" mod team. IE: why is there only 1 female mod and 9 male mods, sexism, racism, my-sogggy-knees blah blah blah. We need the LGBTOMGFBBQ genderfluid viewpoints to be represented...

But the denizens of /r/hockey stamped out the fire quickly and the SJW slunk back to what ever feminist hell they were spawned in.

Lol, the one complaining seems to be a white male...Good thing there are very rational women in the sub to call him out for his absurdity.

Isn't White People exactly what they're doing? It seems like from the description it might as well be people reading their tumblrs. But they're offended by people doing what their doing in the exact same way? I don't-- the fuck is going on?

Simple, the SJW ego and special snowflake syndrome knows no bounds. Each one would prefer to be the only SJW in the world, with everyone else being an ally/slave who worships and lives in fear of them. They begrudgingly tolerate the existence of each other for mutual asspats and ganging up on anyone who draws their ire, but they still not so subtly resent one another. So new arrivals are often hazed, both out of spite and to find out if they are privileged in some way. For a worthless whitemale untermensch to presume he is the equal of the SJW master race by even attempting to talk their talk is seen as an outright attack.

It just astonishes me that there is a place where people have to sign contracts to have sex. Do these people realize how borderline-dystopian that sounds?

I suppose it could be both anti-woman and anti-men. A lot women (including me) do not want affirmative consent in place and want to be treated as civilized adults and not like second class citizens by a movement supposedly championing civil rights for women.

I think what @Utuk_25 means is that, in addition to the existing anti-men implications, feminism will eventually cause a great deal of resentment against women too, from the general population. There are a lot of women today with very strong belief's in women's rights/equal rights, who do not identify as "feminist" because they feel the movement itself makes them look bad.

Here's something else to consider... if two people have consenting sex with a contract, and rape is later claimed, will the woman actually be challenged for trying to take back her consent after the fact? If two people have sex without a contract and rape is later claimed, is the man assumed guilty just by virtue of not having a contract? My point is, does the contract have any legal standing whatsoever? I highly doubt it, so all it is is a feel-good fuzzy-wuzzy. It hasn't helped the problem at all. But of course, we'll force it on an entire population of sexually active young adults, because RAPE CULTURE.

Here's something else to consider: If a woman signs the paper, does she effectively give up any option to stop sex if she changes her mind? If the paper makes everything A-OK, can she sign it consenting to a little plain vanilla sex and then be pulled into a gangbang? As absurd as it sounds, it's right in line with a lot of the college rape accusations these days.

This is just such a stupid idea on so many levels.

It's actually not as novel as you might think. There have been written policies almost at this level of pure idiocy for literally decades on many college campuses, basically requiring explicit consent at all stages. They're often drafted by dipshit student groups and SJW types.

Mostly, these policies are outright ignored. This would probably go right into the list of such policies.

Actually pull this lunacy on the son of a legacy alumnus with a building named after him? Yeah, that's gonna happen.
