Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I don't know if I've ever met a right-leaning Catholic, but I did a perfunctory search and apparently the Catholic Presidential vote is typically split around 50/50. (The ones I know are more like 75/25 or 90/10 leftists, and none are openly conservative.) They voted for Obama, but also for Bush. Last year they came out for Biden, and may have swung a couple states his way. You can call him a traitor to the church and quote canon law and the Summa and all the encyclicals you want to prove that he's the worst fake Catholic to ever befoul a baptismal font, but he won the Catholic vote.

Really? This can't be possible. I live in a freaking blue state and most Catholics I know voted and surpported Trump. I there's only like 2 Catholics I personally who voted for Biden.

So I doubt Majority of Catholics surpported Biden. My grandmother is a devoted catholic and voted for Trump and despisees Biden.

also Biden only won those swing states through fuckery pal.

I won't power level beyond this but I'm a Catholic and once you get through the crucible of Catholic guilt you bust through as more assured in your beliefs and more conservative, or you let it consume you and what people think of you. I don't even go to church much but I do know I carry the Word in my heart more than all politicians. I shouldn't be having sex before marriage but I don't try and make the church conform around my opinion or change it. You take the L on that one and hope when God's looking down and sees you racking up Ws in all the other things of life he'll be forgiving. I also knew/know to take responsibility if I slipped one past the goalie. That's the part of the Catholic democrats I will never, ever understand.

This is why I'm disappointed in how Barrett and Kavanaugh were quasi-cucks in their California church ruling in letting service but only 25%, and no singing. Benedict needs to stage a coup and return to being Pope. This is also why Trump was way better for religion than someone like that born again phony Bush 43.

It's absolutely possible that they voted for someone who was at least willing to say that they were Catholic versus someone who couldn't hide (nor care to hide) how irreligious they were and first identified as Presbyterian to get past the gate, then as non-denominational to further appeal to his main base, even without considering that many Catholics aren't practicing but still identify as such or considering electoral shenanigans.

I know many Catholics that like Trump even if he wasn't catholic.

I can see it being a Jewish thing where non practicing Catholics voted for Biden. You know Catholics who say their catholic, but don't go to church.

I am a Catholic and was raised Catholic, and I can say that the majority of Catholics are liberal as fuck voters. Should they be? No, it goes against almost all of their ideals. But they are. My mom voted for Obama twice and was a millimeter away from voting for Biden until I FINALLY convinced her how against her own ideals he is.

Mexicans are the same way. They should be conservative, but for some stupid ass reason almost always vote liberal, then have pikachu face when the liberals do shit that fucks them over.

Jesus, I came across this horrible message, who could honestly believe this tripe? What a horrible message that doesn't in any way espouse my exact views of politicians of all stripes EXCEPT our beautiful lord and savior Joe Biden of course.
