Yes, this “but whatta bout” shit is so fucking stupid. They are not comparable.

nobody stormed the fucking Capitol, in the Capitol

violently invading the Capitol

didn’t bust into the Capitol

assholes storming the Capitol

barged into the Capitol violence at the Capitol

pillaging the US Capitol storm the Capitol

violently storming the US Capitol

So you said THE CAPITOL (lol it's a government office building that's open to the public bro) a hundred times but your whole post is still just an opinion, it's not even an interesting opinion, just someone shouting "I THINK X IS WORSE BECAUSE Y". I wouldn't use the death count as a bludgeon either, first of all it was mostly protesters who died at the hands of police, and second the count was pretty low for such an UNPRECEDENTED and SIGNIFICANT terrorism insurrection war action. Have they actually released why the one cop died yet?

We get it, the Capitol is highly symbolic. But even if you occupied it with 10,000 paramilitary troops and declared it Trumptopia, you'd be no closer to actually having accomplished a coup d'etat than if you had done the same to basically any other piece of government property. As a symbolic target it has propaganda value, but there's not a magic troll locked inside that immediately generates and codifies law (which is then automatically enforced by the judiciary and police) from it's asshole.

If your argument's made in good faith, I guess some people just don't get what representative democracy is, how it's supposed to function (hint: not via graft and obfuscation), or what it's based upon. This seems to me like a civil action that typifies those you would expect to see in a democratic republic that is undergoing political instability and upheaval, or in other words, completely normal for our declining multicultural empire. As far as BOMESTIC TERR0R goes, the recent protests and riots of the left would be a much better example of it than this event was, unless you think that the citizenry doesn't matter... hell, the politicians hardly even suffered from any vandalism (my letters!).

You must have watched a movie where Orange fuhrer personally created an army of irregulars, mustered and armed them, and commanded them to seize government buildings and kill those inside, which they proceeded to do with great success. Weird premise though, isn't the fuhrer already in charge of the actual military? How can I relate this to harry potter star wars?

They did find a smattering of dead people votes but not enough to change anything in even one state much less the three+ they needed.
Of all the pants-shittingly retarded jurisprudence to come out this election, "you have to prove your case before you're allowed to investigate it" has to be one of my favorites. Y'know, just in case there were any lingering doubts about the fix being in.

I would call into question the symbolic value of the capitol building to the general public, most people do not give a fuck about the Capitol building(does the president live there? No, then who cares). Seriously I'd be willing to bet a lot of people wouldn't have been able to pick our capital out of a line up of other countries equivalent buildings until very recently. Shown a picture they might have responded something to the effect of "oh I've seen that in a movie, or the news" or perhaps some vague notion that some sort of governmental business is attened to there.

I don't say this to mock the ignorance of the general public (because that's the lowest hanging fruit), I say this because it genuinely does not matter to them or their day to day lives. That's what makes this faux outrage so disgusting (at least in my eyes), they act as if this was the storming of their local police station and now the whole neighborhood is in anarchy (an unfortunately familiar picture).

One would hope recent events would show the general public how much of a joke our government is, but of course people are wrapped up in their narratives and delusions. One has to wonder if they've ever thought about these values they claim to uphold and whether they're actually worth the lip service they give them. Every government is a ticking time bomb, and it looks like ours is about to blow (whether we get the cool slow motion explosion from the movies, or a more realistic explosion is yet to be seen) . The line "Rome is falling" seems trite at this point, but let's hope we can look back and see this as a comparison to the roman republic and not the empires decline.

Seriously though what do kiwis think will be the next form of government in the usa(in minecraft of course)?

I wouldn't be surprised if tens of millions of Americans think the Capitol is where Congresscritters and/or the Vice President live with their families just like the President lives in the White House.

Oligarchy/"Democracy™️". Expect absolutely free and fair elections (just like in Russia!) and totally not-suppression of all but a few viewpoints that just happen to align to the government. The opposition just so happens to mostly agree with the ruling party except those people who totally are not harassed by the government or their corporate contractors. Oh wait, you said next form, not current form.

I can't see rule of law surviving in this country for much longer. One party actively subverts the spirit of the law with the help of their corporations plus ignoring whatever laws they find inconvenient. The other party (or whatever party replaces them) will either go along with that (unfortunately likely) or will have to start doing the same. I think we're looking at the last decade where we can make any serious changes to the system without there being a later revolution (peaceful or "peaceful") of some sort that makes sweeping changes overnight (if the revolution succeeds).

Basically our democracy is on life support right now but Our Democracy™️ is thriving thanks to the protection the Democrats and journalists are giving.

No different than how Hunter Biden just happened to find himself under investigation a few weeks after the election. I thought it was all a conspiracy theory or something.

I don't think we'll ever have a smoking gun for the 2020 election theft, outside a collapse of the US 1991-USSR style that results in lots of shit being declassified. But like we saw with the Mueller Report and the shitshow surrounding it, there's probably some good evidence out there though.

I suspect he isn't much of a 2nd Amendment fan or supporter of the police dealing with violent felons.
He represents Dublin, California, which is where the Silicon Valley people live.

After the failed Impeachment of the Orange Man back in February of 2020, today with possibly 5 RINO senators voting to convict the Former President of the United States will begin another Impeach 'Witch Hunt' Trial today at 12 PM EST

What's the point if he's no longer president exactly?

There are a few reasons:

  • Appease Democrats who are still calling for blood. Despite the constant negative press covfefe, a criminal prosecution of Trump will not happen. He simply did not commit a crime and "creative interpretation" of criminal law will not fly here.
  • Drum up an even greater emotional frenzy against Trump and his supporters. The end goal is a Chinese-style social credit score, which will be justified as necessary to combat extremism. They know Trump won't be convicted, and that will be further evidence to support that a social credit score (or something similar) is needed.
  • Fragment the GOP base as much as possible. They want to cause a clear divide between Trump supporters and neocons so that whoever runs in 2024 will not have the full support of the GOP.

The world has gone fucking insane.

The number of people who’ve bought into this is depressing beyond measure.

He’s not the fucking President anymore. Yeah I get you hate Trump a whole lot but for the love of God, take a moment to think about how fucking ridiculous it is to set a precedent where congress has unchecked power to disqualify private citizens from office.

If what he did was so terrible, press criminal charges; they know they can’t, but they also know they can get away with this farce because people aren’t fucking paying attention.

I am starting to wonder if they even have a point anymore or if they are just flailing wildly. The leadership of the DNC appear to have severally limited mental capacity...actually 90% of all of our leadership seem to suffer from some profound mental retardation. We should probably change that...
