Socialim and Fascism were both considered to be on the left side when the ideologies were for the first time conceptualized, whereas the monarchy would have been right wing then. They're really better understood as a reaction against liberalism and not the opposite of each other, as many facists and socialists will tell you. So it's no wonder that people like Mussolini actually started as a socialist and only became later in life a fascist.
Now, I don't support either ideology and I do think that socialism and fascism are caused by the "Death of God" in the Nietzschean sense. That's why the question "How do you live in a world without a God?" is much more interesting and important to me. I don't think that religion will make a come back, even though we might see some people who found religion again on the internet. But the internet is as representative as jugding the actual political landscape with Twitter. Even a theocracy like Iran isn't immune anymore. He just wants to invite people to scream at them and make his audience suck his dick. Anyone can point to this conversation to just not give him any time or even access to their own audiences.
Anyway here it is, I recommend a hearing but only if you absolutely have nothing else of value to do for 4 hours, like being in a waiting room or something.

Something I noticed is Vaush’s tone shifting (again) toward Destiny while in person. Like all the bravado gets lost when he has to confront his idol.

Vaush's tone in general has shifted since he started in 2019. In the beginning, he was super confrontational, basically using "debates" as an opportunity to dunk on /pol/ tier nobodies, calling them chuds, etc. This is most evident in his first debate against Sargon.
Since mid 2020, he has become a lot more cautious with who he picks fights with. And now he's basically trying to go after milquetoast Benshitpiro tier conservatives.

To the slavery part Vaush just doesn't seem to get economics. Let's say that there is a person who refuses to use slaves, then needing to employ workers. Work costs would increase which would reflect in the prices. The person would be outcompeted and lose all their lands. For that reason, if someone didn't own the slave another slave owner would take their place for as long as slavery is legal. Too bad Destiny doesn't seem to know that much either because that is like basic economics.

To continue on this point, most people don't understand that soil-type and cultivation methods played a pretty big role alongside slavery. Most of the South - barring North and North-central regions of Virginia had the Ultisol soil type. Ultisol soil is highly acidic, producing lower yields than the northern Afisol soil type that is more fertile.

This lack of minerals causing infertility in Southern soil led to the proliferation of a particular cultivation practice commonly referred to as "slashing and burning". Basically, if you own a farming estate of 2,000 acres, 80% of the land sits idle to be used in the future via slashing (cutting down) and burning so the nutrients go into the soil and fertilize it. The remaining 20% of the soil was cultivated during a set time period. Once 100% of the estate was cultivated, most of the land is rendered useless. And rests for 20 years, creating an economic sink.
As you can probably tell, this is a highly unprofitable business model (when compared to the northern continuous cultivation method) where only massive estates can cultivate at this level. Slavery was thus used to cultivate cash crops on estates to avoid paying the cost of wages. This also negatively affected the south, as a large slave population that could not pay to consume goods/services artificially cut down the size of the southern consumer base, negatively affecting the southern economy as a whole.
I could sperg on, but I feel like I made my point. I first learned this from John Majewski's book Modernizing a Slave Economy, and in hindsight, it's quite shocking how few people factor this into their analysis of the antebellum south.
