Sophie Labelle Verville / Guillaume Labelle / Serious Trans Vibes Comics / Assigned Male / Candycore Comics / Pastel Sexy Times / WafflesArt - Obnoxious webcomics and horrific porn by a crazy fat pedo troon

To the surprise of no one, Labelle doesn't understand comedy. In most cases, guy dressing up as a woman isn't the punchline to a joke, but the setup to one.
Yep, a lot of comedy comes from the fact that they are in a form of drag, they are LITERALLY men in dresses...they don't "identify" as female, they aren't jaking out and "more comfortable" in those clothes - it's situationally driven.

Bosom Buddies
Tootsie
Mrs Doubtfire
White Chicks

those are all disguises. The jokes wouldn't work if it Mrs Doubtfire was struggling with his gender.

Sophie can't even keep his own shit straight...drag ain't being a tranny

It's really kind of disrespectful to gender illusionists to say that a guy in a dress is transgender...so much for Sophie's stuff 'about there are all kinds'

Question, is Assigned Male, the comic, basically over? Is Labelle just gonna go all in on drawing poorly made deviantart-quality paheal-tier horror porn?

I think so.

Assigned Male has been mocked pretty much constantly since it first started, that's got to take a toll on Billy Boy considering it's his self-insert being attacked.

This is why he pivoted to having his ideal best friend, Sandrat, as the focus, before just turning the furry comic into Assigned Male and drawing porn.

I laugh when I see them in public because they look ridiculous while expecting to be taken seriously.
I admit, in the right circumstances it can be funny. I went with uncomfortable though because I was imagining a public situation, with someone like Yaniv who is basically going around waiting for someone to slight them in some kind of fashion so they can pitch a fit. It's the difference between someone who legit has some kind of dysphoria versus troons like LaBelle. LaBelle has his characters dress up in the most flamboyant, attention grabbing way possible, and he clearly loves imagining situations where he gets called out in public so he can own the transphobe with some strawman arguments while everyone claps and comments on how he's such a dainty and delicate young girl. Someone with actual dysphoria puts some effort into passing and doesn't try to draw attention to themselves by blatantly being a dude in a dress.

Even if you want to go the trans messaging route or whatever, I think if most people were out in public and saw someone crossdressing, their natural reaction wouldn't be to laugh. I think they'd feel uncomfortable or weirded out.

Nope, they laugh. Usually, they'll wait until the crossdresser's back is turned. Really, the best an obvious crossdresser can hope for is for people not laughing in their face. Seen it many times.

Or they make a living out of it by becoming a drag queen.

Yeah. There's been plenty of times I've seen an obvious troon and had to constrain myself from laughing.

Drag queens take their shit pretty seriously and anyone who does low/no effort drag is bound to get openly dunked on.
They take their actual appearance seriously and usually pass much better than troons, but they don't generally take themselves that seriously. Troons do the opposite, which is funny, because it is their appearance that is completely laughable and their utter rage when they personally are not taken seriously is even more laughable.

I’m pretty sure he wants to end it. He never really had any ideas to begin with. Every story arc is just “[situation], then the characters talk about gender, no ending.” We’re well into February and he’s still doing reposts from last year. His grand world tour might given him an excuse not to work, but the pandemic put paid to that.

The furry comic went from “insipid crap” to “AM with animals” to “the porn comic without cocks.” And the porn comic feels like a desperate attempt to make money from the demographic that enjoys watching badly -drawn toddlers getting bummed.

I think he’s reached the point where the easy money of those early AM strips has become that much harder to make, and he’s sick of his job.
