Thanks Secret Watcher :punished:
I tried to read what you said and you're actually retarded. At least pretend you know how grammar works.

I'm a little surprised Twitter isn't more involved in all this. Anything impeachment doesn't show up higher than 10th on trending, and there's two woke tags ahead of it. Half of the trends beating impeachment have less than 8k tweets.

So I didn't get to watch any of it today, and to be honest I've just been sort of sick of the whole mess. So I confess ignorance with this question.

I've seen some of the lawspergs on the 'tube saying this whole thing is unconstitutional. Which I gather was rejected today. What was the argument, in brief?

I'm not watching this shit show. So i'm just looking here to see what happens.
I was wondering if there was threadbhere for this. I almost forgot today was the day.

Honestly I wasn't really a fan of Trump 2024. I'm more hoping we get the new and prove Ted Cruz for 2024. It's amazing Trump was able to turn one of his competitors on the debate stage into his prodigy that takes skill my friends.

I like Trump. It just even without impeachment. I'm not a fan of giving people who are 80 something years old political power. At that point just retire
He's been looking good lately. He went from the nose picker to a real chad I guess

Has a friend say the whole "Police and law enforcement came out of slave patrols" on me today.

Three questions got them to shut up.

>Do you know who Robin Hood was?
"Yeah, duh."
>When was it?
"Around the Crusades."
>Who was his foe?
"The Sheriff of.... oh."
The fact you had to bring up a historical/mythical figure to prove your point makes me sad.

Really law enforcement/governments originate from a mafia proto-government. What starts as a band of hooligans becomes a protection racket which slowly morphs into something authoritarian but responsible.

When did Republicans become so content with being jobbers all the time?
Since always.
They're more comfortable in the minority opposition role. It means they don't have to fulfill any of their promises but still get invited to various DC parties.

How long can it go? I’m pretty in other left wing hotspots like China and North Korea, once the left gains office, they crush all the opposition until there’s no more, not even controlled. How long before that aspect of the left is enacted in America?

The less legitimate the regime, the more outrageous are the abuses of power.
Does it seem like Biden and Co. are confident in their “historic” Nov. 4 victory?

Oh shit I forgot Alaska has a weird political system. Becuase I'm pretty sure if was in a normal senate seats. She would have been primary a long time ago.
Apologies if this has been said already.
Merkowski has actually already been primaried before. She just ran as a write-in because fuck election results.
And yes, Alaska’s political system is an absolute clusterfuck.

Copy/pasta warning.

She was appointed to the U.S. Senate by her father, who resigned his seat in December 2002 to become governor of Alaska. Murkowski completed her father's unexpired Senate term, which ended in January 2005.

Murkowski ran for and won a full term in 2004. After losing the 2010 Republican primary to Tea Party candidate Joe Miller, Murkowski ran as a write-in candidate and defeated both Miller and the Democrat shit stain in the general election.

Like it or not, this is effective communication and strategy. Where is the Trump / populist version of this, with demands and legislation?
The problem with that is that if you do try something like that, you’ll likely get banned. This stuff would only work on social media that’s not controlled by Big Tech.

A thought crossed my mind. Since the senate gave the go-ahead in saying this latest impeachment is """"""""""constitutional,"""""""""" does that also open up past living presidents to get the same treatment? Of course, it'd be highly improbable to happen because the hologram's administration would do everything to make sure Obama, Dubya, Clinton, and even Carter remain untouchable until the days they die. But the precedent may or may not have been set by this farce, yeah?
Nah. Precedent was set back in 1876 when Secretary of War William Belknap tried to resign just before Congress voted to impeach him for corruption. The Senate didn't let that stop them from trying him for corruption. This extends the precedent a bit from cabinet members to presidents but isn't exactly an earth shattering change. We probably would have had the same thing happen with Nixon if Ford hadn't pardoned him. You'll still pretty much need a president to have 1) done something impeachable while they were in office, 2) have impeachment proceedings start against them before they leave office.
