There is something very comfy about the threads I've lurked on OF so far. Everything seems more focused, like back when KF was more cwc-centric and there weren't as many subforums. Threads still get derailed often, but the tangents aren't always gay political slap fights. It's usually just banter and continually escalating in-jokes.

Some of it is that the guy is genuinely infuriating if you look at him for any extended period of time, and I think even our regulars aren't prepared for his inanity. People complain like we pay to use the farms. I don’t think any of them have ever done backend server work for a large userbase before. You wouldn’t see the farms go down because there would be test servers, stress testing, and all kinds of shit done before it went live. even with people giving money and BAT/other crypto I know it’s no where enough to have a dedicated test server. complaints like that just confuse me because they seem to know just enough to be like “what a dumb ass lol” Or don’t understand it at all and in that aspect I kinda get why they complain if you don’t know what’s going on.

Or have some crazy person spend his welfare money on DDOS'ing the site, or fucking with payment processors.
