This is why I admire Amelia's policy on this shit. You're free to give advice just as she's free to ignore the fuck out of you. Sometimes on my own content it's welcome, and on some other streamers I watch if they're genuinely lost I'll just gently nudge them in the proper direction like "there's a hidden door in Area X. It'll take you to the next area, have fun" which isn't entirely intrusive and doesn't give a step-by-step guide, more of a gentle nudge.
Also, for some reason I had forgotten all about this despite it being my favorite cover in all of Hololive: Haachama's "Echo."

I don't get people's fascination with meta builds in Monster Hunter, I've always found more entertainment in people flexing on G-Rank monsters by going in naked with only their strongest weapon and gesture spamming with the occasional BBQ spit thrown in. These people wanting speedrun meta are week.

To paraphrase my friend, he said his breaking point was looking to play support for a change of pace, but when he asked for advice on a build for support in some community discord, the overwhelming response was that playing support is lazy and he should build for DPS instead because meta, "even though there's clearly the featureset here that should be conducive to playing support in this game".

God, it’s the Fox-only Final Destination people all over again - taking all the stuff that makes the game actually fun and interesting and throwing it away to make it something it’s not.

It supposedly goes even deeper. Someone commented on that video from a few days ago and her mascot, the Haaton, has neck stitching just like she does after beheading Haato and putting it on Haachama's body. That thing has been her mascot since basically day one.
I do run a few meta builds but that's out of enjoyment. If people give me shit for playing Monhun in a way that is sub optimal, you can just direct them to Canta's video of him taking down an Alatreon using nothing but the Kinsect in under 10 minutes. I don't give a fuck if my build is suboptimal, I'm gonna Wyvernfire fucking everything until the end of days because I like big boom.

AND POP UP PARADE FOR GAMERS
For those not familiar with the Pop Up Parade line, they're GoodSmile's budget line; smaller figures for collectors who want a full set but don't wanna break the bank. Compared to a standard GSC 1/7 statue that runs anywhere between 130 to 150USD and a Figma which runs 50-70USD (not including shipping), the Pop Up Parade lines are roughly 15-25USD. They're more or less the size of desk decorations when compared to a 1/7 scale model figure which is more of a shelf piece.
Speaking of scale models: the horny boomer pirate's prototype looks absolutely phenomenal and I may shell out a decent chunk of cash to get my hands on her. Seriously, this Marine figure has a lot going on in terms of detail. If it gets approved I can't wait to see what it looks like fully painted.

Said it before and I'll say it again, sankisei just prints money. I dunno what the hell it is with them pretty much having a stranglehold on all third-party merch collaborations, but FUCK it must be good livin' having 3rd Gen oshis.

I edited my original post to include the Pop Up Parade and Marine 1/7 statue, and someone brought up the 1/7 scale model of Korone before.
Now honestly this raises the question. Obviously the dedicated gachikoi will buy all of them, but I'm curious as to what will be easiest to sell and produce to the casual fans if they plan on working with Max Factory and GoodSmileCompany. I've never really seen the appeal of Pop Up Parade, but they are definitely the most affordable and cost-effective. 1/7s are nice but I doubt every hololive girl is gonna get one and they will only be approved for production based on popularity of the character; from the EN branch Gura is the most likely one for a 1/7 with Ame being the least, although I'm sure Takodachi would probably sell several organs, either their own or someone else's, for an Ina scale model with her tentacles out on display.
IMO Figmas are the best middle ground. I discussed this with a few friends about what the best option would be in regards to Calli as an example, and considering that she could have several accessories to hold, the poseable route seems like it would work out the best going forward unless they can come up with some really good poses and bases for the girls.
