I love the Kiwi side... not such a fan of the Chris side. It's mostly the design, but I'm not sure it gets the right point across. I realize Chris is the reason this place exists, but the scope of KF has gone far beyond him. I think the majority of reasons people are here are not really related to Chris anymore (I'd barely even heard of him when I joined).

The Chris side just doesn't jump out at me like the Kiwi side does. Then again I have this opinion about numerous coins in my collection (the reverse is always the more interesting) so maybe this is just my own weird hangup.

Chris is an iconic figure in internet history and without him this place wouldn't exist. Keep him on the coin. I wouldn't mind his design changing a bit but I'll be fine with it how it is as well.
I get Chris isn't as interesting as he used to be but not including him seems weak. It'd be like taking Abraham Lincoln off the five dollar bill.

I don't personally follow Chris but I understand how the farms came to be and for that, I respect his face on the coin. I love it. I participate in the girly/deathfats boards here, but would still shamelessly buy one of these for myself and all of my irl kiwi friends.

Chris did make one and take a picture but it was not a proper profile shot so the current draft was based on am earlier picture of Chris. The artist said adding the crown would complicate things. I'd still like to see a mock-up. Alottapeepul who are saying "why Chris" or "no Chris" are missing out on the fact that half the joke is that he is supposed to be taking the place of the queen on commonwealth coins. I think the crown helps sell the joke and you might as well commit to it if you're doing it at all but I'm also not opposed to just Chris as is. A coin has to have a face on it and his is as good as any others. I'm not sure what those opposed to Chris think should be on the coin that would retain the appearance of being something resembling a currency (but distinct enough to avoid any whiff of legal issues. Feds go home.)
ETA: Having the coins minted in the UK would be icing on the joke cake too. Just think of it as depriving the Brits of their actually valuable silver in exchange for worthless monopoly numbers on a spreadsheet if you have problems with "enriching" the Anglo menace.

I like the Chris side for the puzzle pieces and zap to the extreme, but the profile doesn't even look like Chris. Aside from an alternative kiwi design on the back, you're gonna have to tie it to a community or cow, and Chris is probably the most recognizable. If you can't make it actually look like Chris, maybe do Sonichu. As is, it looks like a low effort tranny Bobby Hill.
